A Perfect World 4

Archive: 21 posts

Hi everybody! I just finished next level of my series. This time the way won?t be easy there are few puzzles and some platforming that requires timing and precision. Custom music and voice acting is commonplace! So I hope you?ll like it! Let me know if you find some bug, or glitch...or you find some part difficult...THX ALOT!

Hehe, I was ur first customer on this lvl and possibly on 3 also? (not stalking, honestly lol, just happened like that!)

Enjoyed it thought you went quite easy on us and if I remember correctly I said in my rev that I didn't feel as engrossed in the world as I did in previous installments which I put down to this one being more gameplay and less cinematics.

Still, I'm a fan of the series and look forward to future chapters.

Thanks alot guys...Masseyf, you are almost always the first one who play my new level (few minutes after publishing - you?re fast ) and leave great and long review. And I ALWAYS look forward to it!! About the difficulty...I don't know man...I think this never was about difficulty (maybe the conveyor in APW1), but that?s maybe just the point of view. And the last thing - questionable concept of this level. I agree this level is about gameplay. There always been people complaining about the lack of gameplay in my levels, so I tryed to add some. Looks like I exaggerated it a little. It's obvious that I can?t comply to both sides (gameplay vs. cinematics). I simply understand what you talking about and be sure that APW5 will be cinematic again...BTW It looks like APW5 will take place in a single room ( but three quarters of thermo is full already due to dialogs :-D ). And finally you find some answers...What is the thing you search? Who?s the girl...etc. :-D2011-11-07 08:23:00

Got it thanks, well I have to say before you posted that I played the other 4 levels you made just because I couldn't work it out ofc. I loved them and have now completed number 4 aswell thanks!

Really great use of voice acting, lovely scenary etc

The first Perfect World was my favorite I LOVED the robot and would love to see that in another of your levels.

The music/atmosphere was amazing and very well executed.

I would agree with some that the 'gameplay' aspect of number 4 was good but I think actually you got it perfect in the first Perfect World 1. The combination of cinematics, voice acting, custom music, fun gameplay (the robot? genius).

Sorry that this is a review of the series but since it all culminates in number 4 I hope you'll forgive me heh!

You could see your influences through the different levels and it really paid off it was great!

I liked/hearted them all and I very much look forward to number 5.

After that though please don't stop creating levels, even if you finish perfect world heh, its been a great experience as a player.

Some brief feedback aside from the above is that maybe a little bit of a hint, possible a subtitle mechanism that says 'hmmm maybe I should try bla' etc or anything just to make some bits a little easier, but aside from this it was great!

Nytician.

Thank you donaldpeter58 for playing my level and for your feedback. I like puzzles but I also understand how annoying it can be to seek solution too long...I will think about what you said...thank again...2011-11-28 19:42:00

I played all of those levels last night, and hearted them all so my kids can play them. I LOVED them so much. I don't play community levels that much, and have yet to play many that make me say "WOW!" Your level managed to bring emotions out in me, at the end of one level, I even had a tear in my eye (okay, I get emotional easily lol). I didn't want the levels to end, they were that good. Can't wait for more!2011-11-29 21:39:00
