A Lost Voice.

Archive: 18 posts

don't Be Fooled by The Level Name! ^^
This isn't a dark level or anything. Basically, Da Vinci has lost his voice. You gotta go through his "workshop" to Retrieve it. Along the way you met other Alliance members (not sure about including that :/) and after a fun Blackboard/Chalk Stickers themed level, you arrive at his voice. ^^.
that's The Idea So far, I'd Like any
A) Platforming Help.
b) Cutscenes Help.
C) Scenery Help.

Mainly The Cutscenes. No need to sign up unless your rather patient!
(P.S, If I'm on PSN it isn't always me, my sister uses mah account to play online levels and do random creating )
Edit: I may also need some people to create some enemies ^^

Sorry For double posting!
I'm just gonna ask this:
Would A cave part be a good idea?
(I can incoporate it into the story with ease.)
I (Personally) would like to do it but i amn't too sure if people would agree that it suits the theme....
Anyways, hope i can get a reply

I personally think mixing up too many themes can be confusing. But keeping your theme consistent, even if it's either 1 or 2 themes, is better. Same goes for materials too. As for the bounce pads they look as if they are floating in mid air. If this is a platformer, maybe best to actually put them on a platform, or even a platform that moves in and out like in the Da Vinci levels in the game? To polish it up. Unless this is like that throughout your level and done on purpose.

Just wondering how does the Da Vinci theme fit with the more forest looking theme next to it? As it seems out of place. Or is it all included in the story?

All Included, The foresty part has been altered a bit more.
A pic of a tiny part of the cave.

Whoops, I don't mean to triple post but.....
The level isn't sticking to a cave theme. Some parts will be dark, others bright. Some funny, Some Serious. Some Dangerous, Some Scenic. It's mostly based on what the last levels I've liked were. The tree roots above, were inspired by the gnome cave. The Garden/forest were inspired by Eve's asylum-esque things. The fire and platforms? Sackrificed. Basically every part was inspired by something else. This'll take a while to come out, as I want to be really proud of this.Whenever I've created a new part... I would like to get testers to judge it so far. I'm also not sure whether to put This in:

not The finished Thing, just A rough Outline. Thoughts on whther or not to put this in?

Edit: New Pic...This one of a portion of the level.

Hey, so, are you ditching this for the contest for now?

If not, my offer to return the favor and beta test one of your levels is still open, whether its this one, or your story project.

Ps. Can you let me know what part you got stuck on in my level you tested, I can't seem to find it. Thanks.

Looks like a worthy level mate!
I really encourage you to continue building the level; "you never know what will be the result, if you never completed the task at first".
I hope the level goes well, and if it does get published il make sure il que it right away to play in the future.
All the Best, Hershymalcovitch

Re-doing The entire first Part, As i wasn't Too Happy with How It Turned Out....(It Was Just A Small Building and Some Gardens Really) And didn't capture The feel of what I was Trying to achieve. It also ate up too much thermo!
Cheers All
