Opposite fleeing Sackbot help

I'd like to enable a SB to flee past (in the opposite direction) the player when a point is reached, and not flee in the same direction of the moving player (which is how the SB popit option works)
I'm in the process (as we speak) of fiddling with opposite moving (through piston/ advanced direction) and tag detectors, but surely there must be a more thermo efficient/easier method?

When it reaches the point, make it not flee the player but instead run to another tag. Do it by switching bot behaviors. The first has normal walking speed and follows the player, the second gets activated by this checkpoint's presence and makes it run to a tag far away.2011-10-21 21:15:00

You could override the sackbot with a controlinator and make it move in the opposite direction to the player depending on which of two player sensors were active.

You might literally just be able to wire two player sensors with a 180 degree radius into a direction combiner and wire that to the left stick and place it in a microchip to disable/enable it.

you set it to follow waypoint (i believe). you could also use the right or left handed setting which alters the direction sackbot partols.
