Thermo Randomly Rising

Archive: 5 posts

I doubt there is a solution, but...

While creating a couple days ago, I found this weird glitch. When ever I'd touch the floor of my level, the thermo would rise from a bout one bar up, to the entire way full for no reason. The walls of the level would also be covered in these warning type stickers and on a few walls the picture of a microchip would appear as a sticker.

Does anyone know a way to fix this, what is going on or do I just have to hope Media Molecule finds out about this?

If you can't find a solution or if it keeps happening, post it on Get Satisfaction (http://getsatisfaction.com/littlebigplanet) to let Mm know about it. If you need the level right now, I would try copying everything and moving it to a separate level.2011-10-21 01:01:00

It's a long shot, but it may be down to your level entrance gate.

When I was in the process of creating my current level, I moved the entrance to where my "game area" was and glued it to a piece of cardboard (which was in the air with anti grav placed on it), the cardboard had a controllinator on it with a fair bit of logic. When I entered to controlinator to play my game, the thermo went up by a CONSIDERABLE (we're taking going from almost 0 to 75% full) amount.

The floor of your level is probably very large, and too much for your game to handle. Have you tried slicing and dicing the floor int segments to reduce it's size and complexity?2011-10-25 12:06:00
