SlamBall: Ancient Hoops

Archive: 6 posts

Thought I would remake another one of my levels to get my mind of the big level I'm creating at the moment. Those of you who've been around long enough might remember my level SlamBall (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=21395-SlamBall&p=371890&viewfull=1#post371890). This is the same, except better!
The ball is bouncier and endless tug-of-wars are now impossible.

I could have used grabinators and bouncepads for this remake, but they are way too intrusive. So I made use of the same old bouncy floor glitch and came up with custom throw logic.

Name changed to SlamBall: Ancient Hoops. 'cause, you know, it's just a variation of the LBP1 level.

And allows me to make even more remakes! Look out for SlamBall: Super Hyper Turbo Remix and SlamBall: Super Hyper Turbo Remix Remastered!
I jest of course, there is no fun in making the same game twice unless you have new tools to build it with.

I have no idea what that is, but I'm just going to say yes.

Eh? You throw the ball into the hoop. Like basketball.

I didn't want to use scoregivers, because I don't like working with them. And besides the big, fat numbers should be more than enough to show who won.
