..Because It's getting boring playing with strangers all time. My old clan kicked me out for reasons unknown and I'm trying to find a new group of people to play with. Anyways I'm a level 70 Raven character and if there's anyone out there who enjoys playing the occasional game of MAG, just leave a message PS. Having a mic is not necessary but it's definitely a plus.

Used to play it all the time. For a year and a half. But OP SVER and a Developer who shows no interest in sorting it, leaves MAG pretty much ruined. It's a shame, because MAG is certainly one of the greatest, if not thee greatest FPS on the system. Also, my character is on Raven. Raven's awesome. But I won't be coming back to MAG any time soon. Not until Zipper Interactive fixes this game.

Not until Zipper Interactive fixes this game. I blame the community for slowly killing off MAG. For the past 6 months or so, SVER has totally dominated every single game mode. Why? The answer is simple. Good players from Raven and Valor joins SVER, simply because Raven and Valor usually loses against SVER. What basically happens is that Raven and Valor are left with the somewhat less experienced players. Whenever I play online, my chance of actually winning a game with Raven is about 25% if you're facing SVER and 50% if you're facing Valor. This is still not keeping me away from enjoying the game. It's just that it isn't as enjoyable when you're just playing on your own with strangers with no sense of teamwork whatsoever. The experiences I've had playing with my old clan were freaking amazing, regardless if we won or not, we always worked together like a team, like MAG is supposed to be played. And I want that back because this game could easily be considered my favorite FPS ever.

Oh, yeah, the community is largely at fault. It's a shame that too many players care more about stat padding on SVER, than playing on the losing teams and making things more balanced. Steam rolling the other team is not an achievement - Winning a fair fight which was, initially, anyones game, that's an achievement, and how MAG should be. It's almost depressing that MAG proved the majority of gamers are cowards.

As did I Xero. It was so much fun back then. I got in before I knew SVER was the OP team and I enjoyed their look, as well as that nippy Vipera-2. I deleted my SVER Character though, the clan I was in had disbanded and a Fat Princess clan I was in was looking to expand to MAG, but on Raven so I happily trashed my SVER 39 because there was no way I could reach 60 and Vet over to Raven. Anyway, I had fun on Raven for quite some time. My luck though, it was shortly after I switched that Raven got Zipper's good graces and I was roped in once again as an opportunist jumping ship to the stronger team. *sigh* Anyway, once SVER became the all bad and mighty again the clan I was in dropped MAG and went back to FP so I've been stuck with a lvl...30 something character playing with strangers before I just stopped playing altogether. Real pity, it was a lot of great fun to play. I remember playing on Valor during the early Beta and Ijust loved playing Defense on Domination. I also missed the Faction specific Maps. All three original game types are now Faction neutral aren't they?

Lvl 70 on Valor. I play it now and then. It's a good game but can be unbalanced.

Played it briefly a while back - didn't feel that great, and there was barely anyone playing then, so I can't imagine it's much better now...
