I love LBPC but it could use some easier ways to earn XP... Like games to earn XP and such. I don't know about you guys but I only have 207 XP. Yeah, the guys don't want to (can't?) add advanced forum stuff, so sadly, it doesn't seem likely to happen.

Reputation (i.e. XP) is earned through posting, participating in discussions, and being a generally good person here on the forums. You'd be surprised how much you can receive if you're an active, participating member. Be patient, respond with constructive, well-written replies and you'll be on your way soon enough! Besides, as I've said before, it's not how many green bars you have under your avatar, it's the quality of what you contribute to this site that makes you who you are.

You also get xp for thanks given and received. Valeview- Forum games are exempt from xp.

trust me man, it doesn't take long. Before you know it your blue bar will be right up there. The key is being active, participating. I trolled for a loooooooong time. Mainly because I didn't have high speed internet at the house and couldn't play LBP online, so I just came here and poked here and there. When I finally got online I became more active and the blue bar and gems started moving. Now I don't know what I'm more addicted to, LBPC or LBP. Just be patient and really don't even pay any attention to it. side bar -- how is Valeview's activity 100%? I thought it was capped. I can never seem to get past 99.8%

If you go to your profile page by clicking "My Profile" from the top-right of any page, there's a tab entitled "LBPC XP" which will tell you what sorts of things you get XP for, and how much you've earned in each category. You don't even have to post anything to get them - most of mine (14,000) are from viewing other people's posts. You also get points for length of membership, which works out to 10XP per day for doing nothing, so that's probably the most "easy way" to get them. ...how is Valeview's activity 100%? I thought it was capped. I can never seem to get past 99.8% Activity percentages are expressed relative to the most active user at any point in time, so only one user will ever have 100%. Thus, if your activity is 50%, that means you're exactly half as active as the most active user. Doesn't really matter. You don't win anything for getting 100%, other than a vague feeling that you should probably be spending less time on the internet, and more time in the real world.

It's pretty easy to earn XP. I didn't have any for the longest time, then I just started no-lifeing the HELP! [LBP2] section. xD Now I have 99.8% activity and somewhere around 2000 XP? Oh and my 2nd green gem! I've also started going to news sites and bringing the articles here for open discussions. You could also go to the General Gaming section and find a thread with a game you know a ton about and compare experiences, rumors, glitches, etc with everybody else. That's another amazing way to get XP.

And you do get a trophy but it goes away quickly overnight... Not any more. The trophy was removed due to repeated complaints that it kept vanishing. Has my wife been talking to you? All the time - she speaks of little else.

I amn't on the internet too long! My Bother is on most of the time, I get home at half four GMT and I still have homework...I can't go on much more than 2hrs (At abseloute MAX) on a weekday!
