HEYA! It's time to announc my first MOVE level, Called ''Castle of infinite sunset'' It's made for LittleBigWorkshop's MMS- COmpetition, and 'm quite happy with it (level) I wanted to make a ''relaxing'' feeling level that looks nice and doesn't include brain cranes. (I hate em) Oh well, here's piccies http://ib.lbp.me/img/ft/83bf13de27465c8eb76de24e7c7006a1d3066b57.jpg http://id.lbp.me/img/ft/ded1f554b230ed541dc1e796c9441fa2a6b6331f.jpg http://i1.lbp.me/img/ft/0913266fa75c781bd9bdf82760393f13e13d982e.jpg http://ic.lbp.me/img/ft/eeceea2ccd331e18db81b1d10e1a9ed227975c5e.jpg QUEUE AND PLAY it NAO! <3 http://lbp.me/v/64vnts | 2011-10-16 17:33:00 Author: Dioxi Posts: 61 |
Amazing level. Gameplay is original and the setting is beautiful. Overall a grade A level that's a must play for everyone who has move | 2011-10-17 01:08:00 Author: tom230889 Posts: 117 |
I didn't know you where on the forums too. I found your level on the trending pages on lbp.me. I was impressed your level. Here's my review I left, with a bit more added: Great looking level, lightening & atmosphere but I got fed up with trying to jump, direct, move or run up & use the move controller at the same time, making it challenging, a bit too tricky at times. Gameplay wise, the controlls could do with a bit of tweaking, you can blame my skill but trying to do several actions at the same time tested my tolerance levels a bit. I did find it frustrating to a point that I quit back to my pod. So I haven't actually finished it. But this does not make it a bad level. The art style & platforming is laid out nicely & the move pack is used well throughout. Even a two player mode would be good. If you have a move controller you should try it out. I'll be back to give this another go | 2011-10-19 11:03:00 Author: LittleBigDes Posts: 920 |
Thanks for the nice review DES Yeah, i wanted to add 2 player mode but i think that it's like ''copying'' mackenzie's idea I seriously HATE Brain Cranes so i wanted to make MOVE Gameplay WITHOUT something ridiculous Brain rubbish Thanks also to just_tom for nice words :&apos | 2011-10-21 21:54:00 Author: Dioxi Posts: 61 |
HOW THE HELL DO I GET PAST THE VERY BEGINNING OF THIS FREAKING LEVEL. I've been at it for like 20 minutes to no freaking avail! I am so ****** off right now it's not even funny! I assume you have to go up, and over around he electric part, but I can't send myself highenough in the air with out entering the freaking box area in the back ground above the whole freaking thing. -****** OFF AS HELL. | 2011-11-05 04:35:00 Author: LukeCF Posts: 790 |
Once above the electricity part there's a platform above left, go on top of it and do a gentle push up. Use this momentum to jump up to the next platform. After, it only got worse for me as the controls get a bit tricky, like trying to pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time (probably harder since I'm left handed). At which point I quit. Where you have to move a block above you, jump then move onto the platform that rises below you as you move the block above you to activate it. It really is a good level. I wouldn't say it's too hard (tricky is more like it), I just need a bit more time to do it so It's still in my queue to give it another go later.
