Shadow of the Sack Colossus

Hi. I just published another sackbot level based on the PS2 game "Shadow of the Colossus". I'll take 15 feedback for feedbacks. Once I count 15, this will no longer be F4F. So you basically run around and platform as Wander. He has to fight sixteen (correct me if I'm wrong) colossi, giant earth creatures minding their own business until Wander attacks them. He has to slay these beasts in order to revive his loved one. This level takes place after you fight all but the last colossus. You have to platform you way to him! If there are any bugs, let me know. Here are some pics from it:

first, the level looks great. You've done a fantastic job on the visuals. Love the checkpoints, those were cool. Love the health bar. The game play was a little lacking though. There was a lot of running. I realize in the PS2 game you have to traverse vast distances, but he had a horse. Maybe put a few more obstacles/puzzles to go through. The ledge/rope climb did not work for me. It says R1 and X but he just hung there. If I press R1 and L1 he would flip up on the ledge and I could continue that way. When I finally did get to the rope, I just couldn't get him to climb it. R1 and X did nothing. I tried the R1, L1 method but just couldn't flip and grab fast enough to get all the way up the rope. I hope that didn't sound too critical and helps out a little.2011-10-20 01:33:00

I played this level earlier and it is fun.

VISUALS:
The details of this looks good. I liked the idea of using the rusted nail decorations as an old tree and the castle decorations as the pillars. It even has good cinematics. I think the colossus boss needs more corner edits and details, plus near the sublevel entrance there is a triangular shaped hole that's not necessary in this level.

SOUND:
Good sound use in this level.

GAMEPLAY:
This level has simple but good platforming. I do agree with Biorogue that you got the description mixed up about climbing the rope and defeating the colossus boss. In addition, when climbing the colossus near the checkpoint, I sometimes get hit by its lasers.

OVERALL:
The level could use more innovation, but it has some good visuals ideas. A yay.
