Haunted Halloween (my first major LBP2 level)

Archive: 7 posts

Hello folks and sack people. I'm Cryo and I have published "Haunted Halloween (http://lbp.me/v/6zkx60)" about 3 days ago. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I wanted to give back to my LBP2 playing experience by making a scary and fun level to play. Here are some pictures, but please, feel free to check it out for your selves!!!

I played this and really enjoyed it. There were quite a bit of scary parts, and a really creepy feeling all throughout. Nicely detailed as well. Good job!2011-10-15 22:00:00

You've really gotten the creepy vibe down well in the house part of the level. Even without a lot of decorations you still have managed to creepy rooms and some great jump-out-and-scare-you sections.

I liked the zombies jumping up out of the ground and the gate to the house was a great touch. I noticed that if you go upstairs where the giant ghost comes out that you can run all the way to the left and into back layer and not get killed by the gas. You could corner edit the gas out a little more or put something in that spot so that the player gets killed as intended.

You may not need to do anything but as I was playing I took the elevator up at the werewolf section, saw the door on the right and jumped down to try it out before going up. Unfortunately the elevator doesn't come back down and I had to do a level restart to continue.

It was a little difficult to tell if the werewolf was in the cage as I tried to do the bait/cage door spot. It was very clever the way you use the boxes from one room to climb up into the shaft in the other. It was a bit tedious to run back and forth though to set up the ladder needed. Fortunately though you've got the boxes out of a material that is very easy to move and stack.

This level has some great atmosphere and some challenging puzzle type bits. Good work.

If you are able I'd appreciate some feedback on my latest level, Darkhallow Homecoming, the link to it is in my sig.

Cheers.

OH wow tyvm for your input!!! I'm super happy you played and enjoyed my level. Yeah I admit that some of the spots in my level are a bit unpolished but over all I just tried to think "what would happen if..." and solve those problems. I guess there will always be glytches eh?
