Hey guys, i got a poll for you. What do you think is the best video game over all platforms and genres, of ALL TIME? Leave your answer and if you want, tell me why! Check back often to see restults. Pac-Man/Ms. Pac Man Pong Call of Duty Super Mario Bros Sonic the HedgeHog One of these is out of place. Not implying it's a bad game tho, but all the others are classics... :/

Any conclusion that can be pulled from that would be null and void because it only has five random series, not even games. Ah well. My favorites... Tales of Symphonia, Tales of the Abyss, Xenogears and Batman Arkham Asylum. And next week Askhum City most likely. Wheeeee

Hmm... You'll probably all get mad at me for saying this but I don't really like ANY of those options... D: I mean... They're okay... I'll play them every once in a while... But none of them would gain my vote for the 'best.' My vote for the 'best' would actually have to go to Tetris or Space Invaders... xD

the problem with this thread is that people are all just giving opinions. The games I have listed, some are among my favorites, but they are all taken from several lists of the greatest games of all time. Not from my brain hole. The idea of "greatest of all time" should be from an almost unanimous decision, not from opinion. So yeah. Keep opinions out.

Thats easy Best Action Game: Ninja Gaiden Black Best Fighting Game: Super Smash Bros Melee Best RPG: Final Fantasy X and Mass Effect(Tie) Best Shooter: Uncharted 2 Best Adventure Game: Rachet and Clank: Up your Arsenal Best Puzzle Game: Catherine( I hate tetris!) Best Sports Game: NFL 2k5( And i will pretty much argue this until the end of eternity) Best Party Game: Sonic Shuffle Best Horror Game: Resident Evil 4 Best Multiplayer: Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 and 2 (gamecube, 4 player local co-op ftw!)

Can there really be ONE game to rule them all? Probably not. We could argue Ad nauseam about what game(s) I think is the best and what you think should be top of the heap, but that would get us no where at all. I would argue for Super Metroid, or Another World, or Curse of Monkey Island, Fallout 3, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Final Fantasy VIII, or, or, or. And on and on and on. From the list provided, I would have to go with Super Mario Bros.

Of the list available it would have to be pong. It predates them all and is still an immensely playable game. Without Pong, there would be nothing in the list.

Ratchet And Clank when it was in the earlier days. Infamous, because it's amazing. LittleBigPlanet (ofcourse). Definitely not Call of Duty.
