I certainly hope nobody else tries to put any more scoreboards in their mouth! They probably don't taste very good! Edit: Thread title fixed... my joke doesn't make any sense now! LOL

Finally. No scoreboard = no motivation for bubbles/combos = lame gameplay. I certainly hope nobody else tries to put any more scoreboards in their mouth! They probably don't taste very good! I'd imagine crossing your finger wouldn't be too nice either.

ok, i'm new to online and i didn't even realise there was something missing. what is this scoreboard and where does it appear. the only thing i've noticed that seems odd is people's levels floating about their moons

ok, i'm new to online and i didn't even realise there was something missing. what is this scoreboard and where does it appear. the only thing i've noticed that seems odd is people's levels floating about their moons The scoreboard is the display that pops up at the end of a level, with the "LEVEL COMPLETE' screen and whatnot. For a while now, it's only been showing your score alone, but it's supposed to show your position among everyone's scores for that level. Because of some exploit bug, MM has had online score-saving disabled for months now, but it looks like we may be nearing the end of that.

what??! but i've been seeing other peoples scores too when i play, that's why i was confused Yeah, those scores are the frozen scores, the last ones that were uploaded. In simple language; Someone used a bug to make a costume remember objects this was built on to make a flying thing and then some emitters, and then a score giver. Combined it meant people were(are?) able to fly around levels an look at them like sirt of a create mode in preview. It also let people 100% story levels and for good measure max out the scores at 4000000. Some levels in story mode show the people that gave it a go some people also just used the points to 'just' get first place. Mm's response was to freeze uploading scores to try and control peoples scores. It only stops uploading, the last few patches were to deal with the bug that made the object, as well as break the existing object costumes. The final step is to roll back the scores to a date before the exploit went live, and switch on the uploading again. It's a pretty touchy subject if this was the right course of action, do you blame the person who first did it? Why do people even care? It' back, I'm not out to show my scores, but I did build a challenge level and wanted to see a score breakdown so I could offer prizes based on averages. I think all can agree that its good that they may be back soon.
