[SOLVED] Logic help please

Hi, I'm back here again I'm wondering if anyone here can figure a way to achieve quite a specific effect. Basically, I have a piece of neon. Its "on" setting is set to green (the colour on the far right, more specifically) and 100% brightness. The "off" setting is set to red (specifically the far top left colour) and is also 100% brightness. The input action is set to "dimmer", which makes the neon yellow when connected to a signal at 50%. What I want to do is have the neon signal change from red, to yellow to green based on 3 different sensors (which will either be buttons, 2 way sensors or player sensors), with each sensor changing it to a specific colour, regardless of what the current colour is, so, for example, the sensor on the left would always change it to red, the sensor in the middle would always change it to yellow and the sensor on the right would always change it to green, regardless of the neon material's current colour. I've figured out how to make the neon colour cycle from red to yellow to green, and then back to red to continue the cycle (using 2 counters, one to cycle through with the target count set to 2 and one to reset the other counter and itself at the end of the cycle with the target count set to 3), and that effect will do, but it would be better if I could achieve the effect of having the material change to a specific colour based on which of 3 sensors is activated, and I just can't think of a way of doing it. If anyone can think of a way of achieving this specific result, can you please reply to this thread. Sorry if this is a bit too demanding, or if it's actually really easy and I'm just being stupid Thanks a lot in advance! | 2011-10-11 18:11:00 Author: Unknown User |
Something like this where the batteries are set to 0%, 50% and 100%. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l37/Corporeal/61144b67.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l37/Corporeal/39e0bf38.jpg | 2011-10-11 18:45:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
Something like this where the batteries are set to 0%, 50% and 100%. Thanks, that worked! I replaced the tag and tag sensors with a selector, with the 3 sensors going into the 3 inputs, and the 3 outputs each going into one of the 2 inputs on 1 of the 3 AND gates, and it worked perfectly. http://i52.tinypic.com/smek3q.jpg | 2011-10-11 19:26:00 Author: Unknown User |
