Is the "Marie Vest" stickerable.
Archive: 30 posts
I've been trying to make this costume for a long time now. TO make it look likke her i need it stickerble blue and that costume piece. But every time i try to sticker it, it just doesnt stick. Is it even stickerable? | 2011-10-10 20:46:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
Probably not, but try different parts of the vest. I've found that by stickering certain part it works whereas the other part didn't. | 2011-10-10 20:49:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
Tried every place, it just stickers to a differnet bodypart, very upsetting. I guess i'll just have to make princess Jasmine in a different costume. | 2011-10-10 20:53:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
Im sorry I couldn't help. Mabye use the belly dancer costume piece. | 2011-10-10 20:54:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
Tried it, it'll let me sticker the clothes, but not the inside of her skin. that's jasmine's look i guess. | 2011-10-10 20:59:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
I suppose. Good luck with it! Wait could you not sticker the skin before putting on the vest? | 2011-10-10 21:01:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
Already did, but when you put it on, it reverst back to its orginal material, for me was the green checkered material. so when i put on the vest, everything down under it, is green checkered. And it won't let me sticker that. | 2011-10-10 21:03:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
Oh well . Im all out, good Luck. | 2011-10-10 21:07:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
hehe thanks anyways | 2011-10-10 21:10:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
I think that the vest can't be stickered. I had that happen also. Is there a better starting skin you could use? Why are you stickering green check? Also is the belly dancing costumes colour based on player colour? | 2011-10-10 21:35:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
because greencheckerd is better for stickering colours. it makse it look smooth. Also, no bellydancer is not player colored related. | 2011-10-10 22:34:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
It doesn't work no matter how big you make the sticker? :o | 2011-10-10 23:26:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
nope. Un-stickerable. Unless someone proves me wrong. | 2011-10-11 01:51:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
Green checkered is good for smooth stuff, yes. But since you're making a 'human' wouldn't you want a little texture? I think it looks weird to see somebody have perfectly smooth skin. That's why I use the White Cotton... ON TOPIC! I tried and I couldn't get it to sticker. I think the Belly Dancer is the best thing for you... :/ | 2011-10-11 02:17:00 Author: Speedynutty68 Posts: 1614 |
I use the Avalon skin as it is pretty natural skin tone, didn't know that the green check was like that. The Jesse skin from Toy Story is also pretty good. | 2011-10-11 06:54:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
I'd use Avalon or Master Yang skin and sticker the rest of the skin other than the midsection of the bellydancer outfit to create a skin color there while removing face blemishes like wrinkles. | 2011-10-11 06:58:00 Author: JspOt Posts: 3607 |

yes you can sticker the Marie Vest. sticker the top shoulder strap at the very top.I can show you pics of costumes where i did it if ya want. *mew Edit: Green checkered is bad. the checkers show up in some colors and lighting. there are two much better skins for smooth skins. one is the storm skin from marvel. the other is the pig skin from toy-story. | 2011-10-11 11:41:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Dont have either of the skins, but i have already adjusted the problem, do you know of another that isn't dlc related? And yes, I would love to see those pics Edit: Nevermind about the skin, people are saying avalon, but i'd still love to see those pics | 2011-10-12 03:51:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
But... skin is smooth. Oh really? Look at your skin right now and tell me it's perfectly smooth. There's no bumps at all? No pores? I think I got you there... :3 | 2011-10-12 04:50:00 Author: Speedynutty68 Posts: 1614 |
here you go. http://www.freewebs.com/chaoswinds/Sozo/Part2/lolibee-0.png and no. there is no good non DLC smooth skins. | 2011-10-12 05:24:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
^^Looks great! There are a few costume bits I had trouble sticking in the past. Maybe a seasoned costume designer like yourself could do a picture tutorial of costume 'hot spots'? I can't remember what else I had trouble with... It was a jacket I think, also a pair of trousers. | 2011-10-12 07:17:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |

Yeah I been thinking of making costume tutorials for a while. i remember most of the pinpoint spots on every costume part out. *mew | 2011-10-12 15:27:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

Uhm, no, my skin isn't bumpy. my skin looks fairly like a dragon's. but anyways like i said before. the storm skin is the best for most costumes IMHO. smooth but not to shiny~ | 2011-10-12 19:45:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Hmm quick question Fumet. What would you suggest for people without the DLC you've listed? I mean I DO own them, but I give my costumes away and I don't want others to be hindered by extra DLC you don't really require. ^^ I use checkered, but I'm thinking of making a switch to different skin since I've noticed the evil checkers and it's kinda shiny! D:> | 2011-10-12 20:05:00 Author: Shadowstarkirby Posts: 205 |
Hmmmm, someone should compile a list of stickerable and non-stickerable costumes items. I can but would need help for some of the dlc ones. @Shadowstarkirby- I dont think there are many that are better, There is the Brown Leather one, but its bumpy. | 2011-10-12 20:16:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |

D:> I have looked at all costumes in detail. but people who are to cheap/or they just can't for whatever reasons. to buy DLC to get nicer smooth skins. then they only got checkered skin they can use. I hate that skin myself and would far sooner use a skin with little texture (like brown felt) but whatever floats their boats ya know? Hmmmm, someone should compile a list of stickerable and non-stickerable costumes items. there is no costumes that are unstickerable. if you know how, all costumes are stickerable. *mew | 2011-10-12 20:37:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Thanks for the pics man, think im going to go try them out. | 2011-10-12 22:45:00 Author: fighterwindplus Posts: 403 |
Uhm, no, my skin isn't bumpy. Pores? It's 100% perfectly smooth. Completely, utterly smooth. No bumps or blemishes at all. You know I mean your skin in real life right? Not your current sackperson's skin... | 2011-10-13 00:37:00 Author: Speedynutty68 Posts: 1614 |
