E-learning with LittleBigPlanet - Business Communication

Archive: 4 posts

Hey guys,

I am in the field of instructional design, and have tried using the awesome tools of LittleBigPlanet 2 to create a prototype for an e-learning module on business communication.

This is first time ever that I am creating a level, and I'm not a techie by any stretches of imagination, so expect it to be far from polished. As a matter of fact, it is as crude as they come! Besides, as far as the pure content is concerned, this is just a prototype - the first few minutes of a long module - and that too a work-in-progress proto!

I'd be eagerly awaiting any feedback that any of you guys may have for me, especially on the overall ideation and concept.

Cheers!

Swapnil

Alright, so I've finally been able to save and upload screenshots from the game. For some weird reason, the snapshot camera just wasn't doing it on the sequencer, so I clicked a couple of them in create mode with 'preview' turned on.

This is such a good idea, I was thinking that somebody should do something like this to help young kids, because this game really appeals to them. Well hopefully this works out good for you.2011-10-15 15:36:00

Name you objects in LBP2. (The ones you get from the scoreboard.)
Perhaps add some full stops/period to the end of some of the magic mouths? (down to personal taste)
Maybe check how the writing is separated between bubbles (each should end in a comma or period imo) and watch those LBP-style breaks. (for example 8:00 am was split onto two lines of text).
Finally for the players at home, give them points (use point giver logic) for every correct answer, and make the stickers/font clearer (to do that I would simply change the glass material to cardboard or something).

As for the project, I understood it and even learned something.
Oh and give away the 3 C's on a piece of material perhaps?

As for the images (broken atm), you can simply take a photo in game, upload them to LBP.me, and link from there. That way you don't need to use a second site to host the images.
