It has been a while since I've been on here for help since I now have most logic figured out but this just baffles me. Why is it that when i plug an AND gate into an emitter and then activate the AND gate, it won't emit? yet it emits fine without the gate? Anyone else have this problem?

All input ports on an AND gate need to be active for it to output.

Oh that's what was happening! I had my AND gate and OR gate mixed up on their fuctions, thanks a lot!

No problem. I think if you press square over a logic gate in your popit it comes up with a dialog box saying what it does if you ever get mixed up.
