Yup, it's a top-down shooter, and yes, sorta like maximum carnage. I have actually worked on this level for quite a bit, about a month, but I never really felt like publishing it because it was too similar to maximum carnage. After a long time of thinking however, I have decided to publish this level, after all, I spent about a month on it, might as well publish it. Now about the level, it's pretty simple, there will be lots of bullets flying everywhere, 3 boss fights, various enemies including tanks and sentry turrets. There is no story behind the level, I just wanted to concentrate on the action and gameplay. It's a pretty long level about 7-10 minutes probably. Feedback would be appreciated as to what could be improved, thanks for playing! Hey there just played this now and it was actually not that bad i liked tthe easy controls and the enemies moved well. The stage was reasonable but the checkpoints were a bit annoying as whenever i died i seemed to spawn at a random checkpoint which was very irritating. The sounds and music was good but maybe needed a change in music near the boss just to add a little change to the level. Also some more lighting effects will help this level stand out. The weapons were pretty good i liked the purple laser thing it looked and worked fine but the grenades seemed pretty much useless against anything but tanks. It is very hard to get plays with top down levels so i would seriously suggest you add screenshots to the level as the icon and name alone wont really attract people to play. But overall very entertaining. F4F Any of my levels will do as i'm not sure what you have already played yet or not

OH YEAH! I accidentaly published this on versus so the checkpoints were randomized, sorry... (P.S The link to the page might not work anymore since I published the level on cooperative instead of versus due to checkpoints being randomized.) (P.P.S thanks Lordwarblade for the heads up)

Ahh that explains it. Its always something very simple that its overlooked Its is upsetting to see only 4 plays on this level. Hopefully it will pick up eventually.
