MGS Level Pack Error
Archive: 10 posts
I've completed all five acts, and when I turned off the power and played again, all that was unlocked was Act 1-3. However, my scores from Act 4 and 5 were still in place-- it's just that I need to unlock them all over again as well as collect the prize bubbles. I turned the power off again and I'm back at Act 3 which is the last one unlocked. Is anyone else having this problem? | 2008-12-24 02:17:00 Author: Unknown User |
Wow, that's strange. :s I don't have the pack, but whatever happened, I'm sure MM will work on it. It's a new pack, and there is probably still a few bugs. | 2008-12-24 02:28:00 Author: LBShark Posts: 13 |
To add to it, the saved costumes I had of the Metal Gear crew was missing from my saved costumes. Though the actual parts to create those costumes are still there. Hopefully it's an isolated incident so no one else has the problem. I'm sorry to double post (this seems important enough to register a bump. If not, please take the appropriate action on me), but it turns out I'm not alone. http://forums.littlebigworkshop.com/lbp/board/message?board.id=pod&thread.id=20255&view=by_date_ascending&page=1 | 2008-12-24 02:31:00 Author: Unknown User |
That's odd. I just tried resetting my PS3 now, and everything was still there (I had aced and collected everything). I somehow doubt I did anything special. I played some other stuff for a while before exiting the game, so my only guess is that the saving process is delayed or something. Sounds odd, but that's all I got. | 2008-12-24 06:02:00 Author: gameguy888 Posts: 159 |

the same thing happened to me every time i reset its back to act 1 I was told to try clearing out my collected items from player levels. I'm going to try that now. | 2008-12-24 06:40:00 Author: Unknown User |
when did it come out? i did not know of this, but cool i will see if i can play it tomorrow, and then i will test out your problem, but one question, how do you fire paintballs, and how do you aim and stuff? Cheers! | 2008-12-24 06:57:00 Author: RAINFIRE Posts: 1101 |
I was told to try clearing out my collected items from player levels. I'm going to try that now. yay that worked for me thanks a lot i remember the message that my profile was too large popped up a little while before i noticed the problem guess i should have listened to it lol | 2008-12-24 07:13:00 Author: in_the_flesh Posts: 13 |
how do you fire paintballs, and how do you aim and stuff? After getting the gun, you can fire by pressing R1 (you can't grab things with gun in hand though, but you get rid of it just like the jetpack by pressing Circle). You can change your aim with the right stick. Paintballs arc when fired, so you'll need to plan accordingly. Anyway, good to see a possible fix here. I know I usually keep my community objects rather clean, so maybe that's why it didn't bother me. | 2008-12-24 07:20:00 Author: gameguy888 Posts: 159 |
yay that worked for me thanks a lot i remember the message that my profile was too large popped up a little while before i noticed the problem guess i should have listened to it lol For some people it isn't working meaning the game will not save, so if someone was making a level, it would not save the progress basically. I feel like this is the Wii's crappy storage all over again. Having to delete levels just to have enough room... | 2008-12-25 00:24:00 Author: Unknown User |
