Level: MiniTanks!

ok i have this idea of a level with little tanks made 3 one sackboys: its called MiniTanks it would be a full level with 3 lanes and monsters and obstacles:

A: trigger for firing when moving backwards

B: trigger for firing when not moving

C: trigger for firing when moving forwards

D: trigger for moving backwards

E: trigger to stop movement

F: trigger for moving forward

your sackboy would have little space to jump so you can jumo a little bit and he will hit the trigger and it will fire a Rocket. It will always fire forward and some enemys will take multiple hits to kill, as well as some barricades. For an example of movement if you are standing in the front of the tank it will move forward and then if you jump it will fire once, the same goes for the back. Each lane would have an equal number of barricades and enemies just not neccesarily in the same place. The first one to the end wins!! the ground wont just be flat either.... there will be hills and hazards.

BTW, won't the player get confused about which trigger fires where?

No.. basicaly A B and C could all be the same button, they only fire. D E and F go in the direction they are placed, but it could be a push/pull lever to make more sense.

yeah just a lever and a shooting button would do the trick

I guess A B and C could be the same button but if you have a switch u cant just have it sit still, you could only go forwards or backwards,

also you could use A B and C for different places to fire. "A" could be fire backwards "B" could be fire up and "C" could be fire forwards, but that would call for a more complicated level design too

just let go of the lever and it will stop. (less your on a hill...)

maybe we can encorperate our two ideas into a multi segment level! or if not u can use mine as an enemy.

blue= not worked out yet
orange= might change
purple= not giving it away just yet

inside of pose doll= just scribles but i have a clear cut idea taking into account his movement going back and forth.

either way can't wait for this game and your level!

Yeah i was thinking about doin a minigame too it would be great and i will probably make that too.

the only thing similair about it is the fact that it has to do with tanks.....

my idea is about how you control it and developing a map for it not peicing one together

I meant about the 2v2 aspect, should have quoted uks-FINEST-HERO's post.

adding to your idea what if their were invisible triggers that made the tank move left and right depending on what side of the tank you were standing at.
I'll post a pic maybe if i have the time.
