I have been told I should post here while developing a level to build up hype. There are (as far as I have seen) few great tower defenses around. I have had the idea of making a truly great one for quite some time. Ok so I dont have photos... I will be sure to get those out soon...but what I do have so far is a long list of towers... I'v been trying to slow down my posting here but Im too excited... Everything is coming along so nicely, the missiles fly over the buildings, the money towers generate money, the prices display properly but one major thing is killing me. things smash into the towers. In example, the fire from the flame thrower can smack into the tower in front of it if they are not placed right. this makes building techniques very limited because some towers must be in front of others. Recently the thermo has been giving me allot of trouble...At one tick per building space, i could only have 10 total building spaces, not including emitted objects, background enemies or...anything else..So, using tags what I had to do was split each placement point into two sections, emitters and tags. Instead of having 8*5 emitters per square, I put them on one that moves around. now I can get about 30 squares +background and other required stuff.
