Wow are you serious? Um...well I might have some "fun times" with a supermodel...and cry...that's about all I can think of... Really hope you're joking... :O Edit: Now that I think about it, I'd spend time with my friends and family, and try to make the best of a bad situation. I'd also play LBP for the last time and publish a "farewell cruel world" level with everything I've ever made given away and make all my levels copyable. I'd also listen to as many of my favorite songs as I can... | 2011-09-30 01:03:00 Author: comishguy67 Posts: 849 |

Well first of all, "I" never called you a liar. I said "I hope you're joking" because it would be very unfortunate if you're REALLY dieing. 2nd, If you want ANYONE to believe ANYTHING you say, especially something as potential as serious as this, it would be nice to have some sort of verification. Otherwise people will think you are just fishing for attention... And if you're really dieing...I wish you the best... | 2011-09-30 02:39:00 Author: comishguy67 Posts: 849 |

At least give more information on what your condition is in the OP...and use better grammar >.> | 2011-09-30 02:42:00 Author: comishguy67 Posts: 849 |
First off please calm down. It's not healthy to get that stressed. You have to understand throwing out something that serious without any proof will usually make people apprehensive. You are pretty new here and not well known so it's hard for many to take things at face value. | 2011-09-30 02:48:00 Author: Lady_Luck__777 Posts: 3458 |
really? because, its no mocking matter. if you were in my situatuin, you would be reacting the same way i am. more so is the fact that people in todays society make those kind of ignorant and rude remarks all too often. Sorry, but no. Let me elaborate on my "I call BS." quote from earlier. From face value, this seems like your typical troll thread. Nothing more than attention seeking & argument enticing. Like Lady_Luck said, it's very hard to take your words seriously since you are so new around here. Maybe if you were someone more reputable, you wouldn't be met with all this skepticism. That's just the way things go, i'm afraid. Not just around forums, but in life. If your buddy came up to you asking for a spare buck, i'm sure you'd probably give it to him. If a bum came up to you in the street and asked the same thing, you'd probably ignore him. (Don't get me wrong, i'm not calling you a bum! ) All i'm saying is that i've seen this kinda thing before around forums & they are almost, if not always, BS. Sorry, but that's just my judgement on this whole thing. Unfortunately though, I have no way to prove that you aren't telling the truth either, so, in that situation my advice would be to get off the computer & make peace with family, friends and the world. On a little more serious note; unfortunately, I have known people in my life who have fallen victim to fatal diseases. From what I assume to be a troll thread, I find this pretty sickening & twisted. Either drop it now & we'll forget all about it or continue on with this charade for whatever reason you're doing so. Either way, this thread is just wrong. The original topic would have been just fine too. Why you added the "Lethal condition" part is beyond me. | 2011-09-30 04:17:00 Author: Mr_T-Shirt Posts: 1477 |
I say this in regards to responding to the question posed by the title of this thread only, it doesn't matter if the OP is in a terminal condition or not, can't we just simply answer the question put to us? Besides, even if it did turn out the the OP was simply lying for attention then we'll look a little silly for believing it, but so what? That's hardly something to worry about. Back to the question at hand. I'm not entirely sure what I would do, I only have vague ideas really, just go/see the things I've always wanted to. Personally, I'd love to go to Japan. I would probably go to the big cities just for the sake of it but I would really be going there for the country side, ancient architecture, zen gardens etc and the JDM car scene of course! Going to Alaska, Norway or somewhere to see the auroras would be pretty darn awesome if you ask me. And then apart from doing things like base jumping, skydiving, car racing, things that'll give me a real thrill, I'd really just like to spend my time with the people I'm closest to. It's always hard to believe what people say on the internet but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say that I hope you have a great time while it lasts. | 2011-09-30 06:08:00 Author: SR20DETDOG Posts: 2431 |
Ignoring the necessary arguments in the thread, I'm going to answer OP's questions. i need some ideas. its not a fun knowledge but what would you do if you knew you were going to die? Do what I usually do: enjoy life to its fullest. Of course, you know have a motive to do things you usually didn't dare to attempt, so maybe I'll do other things like skydive or travel more. and there was nothing you could do about it? Then I can' do anything about it. Deal with it. what would you say? Oh well. how would you feel? Honestly, I'll probably be scared at first, but then once the reality of the situation hits me, I'll move on and go back to my usual mood of calm and happy. how should you feel? It depends on the person. There is no real emotion you should feel. I would personally just accept it and act like any other day. im terrified. any ideas anybody? Yes; stop being afraid. One of the things that annoys me in life is how people can complain and and cower about death. I've lost my fear of death once I realized how pointless it was to be afraid of it. If I'm going to die, then fine: I'm going to die. I might as well turn the bad news as my new motive for life instead of letting it become a parasite that'll make me live in fear. Again, it's my own opinions on this. I don't expect you to listen to me word by word, but I thought I should try to bring the thread back on topic. Good luck. | 2011-10-01 05:15:00 Author: CyberSora Posts: 5551 |
Everybody knows they're going to die. No body lives forever. And I'm not calling you a "liar", I'm just going to list some Observations. First off, how do we know this isn't a account made for trolling? I mean, you joined very recently, and already have a crazy thread that may or may not be real. Again, I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just listing some observations and opinions. If you do have a tumor, do what the other person said. Don't live in fear because would that be how you would like to spend the amount of time you have? | 2011-10-01 07:11:00 Author: alaskadawn Posts: 101 |
I have been skydiving, I recommend it as a means of overcoming instinctive fear. And it's one of the few things where the first time is actually the best. My husbands best friend had a terminal illness with not much warning. He took his closest friends on a holiday before he got too sick to travel. That's what I'd do. It was sad, but also really good for everyone. | 2011-10-02 00:05:00 Author: Pookachoo Posts: 838 |

If I knew I was going to die... sooner than I thought, I'd make sure I spend time with my family and friends, make amends to people and my own self, and just enjoy my last days with the people I know and love. It's natural to fear death. Personally, I'd be terrified to know that I might not be living anymore. But as scary as it is, it'll eventually happen, and you'll just have to take it as it is; you can't alter death once it comes. If I were you, I'd stay calm and make sure you just enjoy life the way you want to, disease or not. And who knows? Perhaps this "lethal condition" will fade away. You can't let it hang over your head like a looming tsunami. Just take it in stride, and when it comes, it comes. | 2011-10-02 16:46:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
To whom is death worse? To the individual who actually died or to those that loved him. Because if you think, death doesn't have a consequence for the victim, because after all his life ceased to be. What is better, to be alive or not to be? Being alive grants you lots of good stuff, but also bad ones. Being dead is just being dead. But enough cheap philosophy. If I really knew I was going to die, I would try to do everything that I still had time and will to do. Like I said, death, no consequence after that. Maybe do something radical that always had freaked me out when I was "alive". Oh, also be with my family and friends, and also talk to my friends on LBPC about the situation and say goodbye. Just so everyone doesn't have to wonder why gdn001 hasn't been online for 3 months. | 2011-10-02 18:53:00 Author: gdn001 Posts: 5891 |
I'd tell my parents how thankful I am for everything they did (and still do) for me. I'd thank them for working so hard in order to give me and my siblings a better life than their parents ever gave them. And I mean to tell them that even though I'm not going to die soon (hopefully). When the time comes for me to raise children I hope I can be as selfless, kind and fair as they have been during these 19 years. | 2011-10-02 19:30:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |

What's this?! A raging argument that I didn't start and am not involved in?! Unacceptable! I know I'm going to die, I just have no idea when. But I'm fully prepared for death. Anyone that means anything to me knows how I feel about them, and I've accepted my place in the universe without the need to plead with or beg a non-existant deity to give my life meaning. Bizarrely, learning you have a terminal condition is lucky in a way... you have been given notice of your mortality and have an excuse to have one of those long metaphysical discussions with your family and friends that we all avoid in our day to day lives - most of us only get that when it's far too late. Short Answer: Enjoy the time you have. | 2011-10-05 05:05:00 Author: Macnme Posts: 1970 |

Strap a mini-nuke to my chest and freefall from a plane into the Westbourough Baptist Church. Disgusting conservative pigs. Also, i dont believe in "death". Sure, your body stops working, but where does your energy go? Why are you so afraid of death when you believe in some retarded invisible place in the sky? Doubts. We all have them. No matter how hard you press down, you cant erase anything from its plane of existence, i dont need doubts, i have the laws of the universe at my side, energy cannot be destroyed, therefore, i am immortal. As is anyone else. Will i be aware of my existence? That is the question to be answered. | 2011-10-18 07:00:00 Author: Charlemagne Posts: 513 |
Sure, your body stops working, but where does your energy go? Energy? As in "kilojoules"/"calories" of energy etc? I hope you're not talking about "spiritual" energy or anything Where your 'energy' goes depends on the method of disposing of your corpse... cremation = burnt up in a fire ; burial = consumed by bacteria. A more interesting thing to think about is how long the "ripple effect" of your energy expendature will continue to 'ripple'. As you go about your daily life, you interact with people and things that can continue to influence the world, long after you've gone... even if it's just something small like something intelligent you've said being repeated by someone who knew you. That's the true measure of mortality. | 2011-10-19 01:20:00 Author: Macnme Posts: 1970 |

That's the true measure of mortality. I mean the very energy that gives you life and makes it so that you are AWARE that you are alive, after you die, your energy doesnt lie dormant. Of course the fats and calories go throught the never ending cycle of life, but i dont believe that a person can go through a state of nonexistence after their existence. | 2011-10-20 00:05:00 Author: Charlemagne Posts: 513 |
The energy "that gives you life" is kilojoules and calories. Stop consuming any calories and see how long your life lasts. Consciousness is a construct of the mind. A product of the electrical impulses firing along neural pathways. Without a brain, there is no consciousness - if your brain has been consumed by bacteria or burnt in a fire, your cognitive ability will be somewhat impaired. Have you never been "unconscious"? Were you aware of anything at that time? If even while you are living and breathing you can experience moments of "blank consciousness", where you are aware of absolutely nothing - what makes you think that your consciousness can survive once you stop living and breathing? Answer is, it can't. This one life is all you get - so we'd better make the most of it. Unless you have discovered a new "life energy" - in which case grab the first scientist you see and tell him all about it, I'm sure the scientific world would be thrilled to learn about a whole new form of energy - hitherto unknown to science | 2011-10-20 00:17:00 Author: Macnme Posts: 1970 |

But after thinking about it a bit, how can one prove what they are experiencing is out of body, and not just and manifestation of ones self? You have to wonder...your brain is the one telling you what everything is. Your eyes only refract light, you nerve endings only react to matter in comes in contact with, your ears only react to sound waves. But we are only capable of being aware of it all because our brain can interpret and makes sense of it. How do you know your brain is interpreting things for what they are? Or is making it's own reality? Just a thought... | 2011-10-20 03:39:00 Author: comishguy67 Posts: 849 |
