so i've spent a ton of time on a level and two days ago, when i tried entering my level to work on it, it froze immediately after my character went through the portal thing at the start. NO other levels do this; only my level. it happens during edit or play mode. made a video so you guys could see what happens: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md153bgrDCw it happens every time in the exact same frame. no sooner, no later.

Have you tried moving it to a different spot on your moon? Or maybe even backing it up, deleting the one on your moon, and then importing it? I've never had this issue before. If worse comes to worse, you could e-mail it to Mm explaining the problem and hope they can fix it... You could also report this on getsatisfaction.com (http://getsatisfaction.com/littlebigplanet) and see if they have any ideas on there. As of now, though, I don't know how to actually HELP you. i've tried moving it to a new crater and all that good stuff, but still nothing. still freezes... thanks for the link; i've made a post there. sigh. i can't believe this happened... it's so infuriating that all this work is probably lost.

Its probably the thermo. Where was the thermo up to in your level?

You may want to reduce the intro time on your video and increase the time showing the freeze. It is impossible to see more details because you have it load, it looks like it freezes and the video ends abruptly. Have you tried going on line with it? THe video shows you are off line. Have you done any glitches? The load in point is at the top of the level from the looks of it.What was the last things you did before it started freezing?

the video basically is... the frame you see at the end staying like that for an eternity. there's no change, so there's nothing more to really show. i stop the video after it loads. there's no more details to see. no, i didn't try going on-line with it because it seems kind of pointless to do so when i can't -play- or edit it as is without the loading mess of it being loaded onto a server. i used to glitches at all, ever, in this level and again, the thermo wasn't even a quarter of the way up... the last thing i did was place a circle onto a background with a motor bolt.

If you don't feel like taking the time just delete the level. Also showing the level being frozen in the video would help others see it, all the video looks like it is showing is a level loading and nothing more...for a video about a level freezing it shows a good amount of nothing (the loading the level and such) and nothing really about the level being frozen...just saying from an editing stand point. It does look like your spawn point is a bit high up...but that most likely means nothing..

I had a similar problem (albeit in LBP1) with a level. I managed to fix it by publishing the level (locked) then copying it back to a new slot on my moon. I assumed the serialization process somehow corrected a flaw in the saved version, but that's pure speculation.
