Steve_Big_Guns style sackbot jetpack logic help

Archive: 4 posts

Hi there. for a while now i have wanted to recreate the "Crash Commando" game features on the psn store. only in LBP2 style. so to sum up a rocket deathmatch VS level.

i absolutely cannot get my head around logic in this game and in need of help. i already have a level published on lbp2. although to navigate the seen i have set gravity low. which ppl find annoying. instead i wud like to use sackbots that use a limited time flight jetpack that recharges over time.

a perfect example of this would be in the level made by expert creator steve_big_guns. "http://lbp.me/v/6kp3h8"

this is my level, "http://lbp.me/v/wsz21w"

any help would be greately appreciated, etc intructions, in game microchips or level links etc.

thanks for reading.

try an anti grav tweaker set to 25-30% dampening, and the Left stick hooked up to an advanced mover, that's the basics of flying/hovering

Add me on PSN if you'd like some help: jrichards16

thanks for the response mate, i will add you tomorrow, i wont be on lbp2 for more than another half an hour tonite to give this a try, i need i think a timer and jo hook this jet pack up to it too. i want the sackbot to be able to jump by pressing x and to activate the jetpack boost by holding x. i figure u can hold x for up to 5 seconds then it will need to recharge for another 5 seconds, or less if the jetpack still has charge.

can u help me with this? thanks

There are a whole bunch of 'double jump' tutorials over here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=46908-LittleBigPlanet-2-Tutorials-and-Games). These may lead you to a solution.2011-09-30 14:45:00
