Last Memory Short Film

Archive: 7 posts

An old lady remembers her time as a child one last time before passing away.

This is my first ever short film made. Although the result isn't as good as I would have liked, I found the process extremely enjoyable which makes me want to improve in all the areas I fell down in to make a successful short film.

The short film was actually made for a first year university assignment, in which the deadline did not give much time. The assignment brief also stated that we must keep the clip at exactly 2minutes long (Wtf right?) and it must involve a chase scene.

I hope it is at least a little enjoyable for you!

Love it. I am in film school myself, and your project is much better than most first year assignments. Great job. I love all the symbolism and the surreal feeling of everything. Reminded me of David Lynch.2011-09-28 08:21:00

Nice work Ali, love the changing angle shots at the beginning and all the pieces on the beach like the clock. I thought when the old woman the died, it was a bit sudden, just having her close it and then plop her head back, but that's fine, I don't mean to be rude when nitpicking, I'd be grateful to come up with a short video half as cool as this was. Nice work though, a bit creepy in it's own sense when you think about it.2011-09-28 15:36:00
