here's mine How do you use that onscreen white text? The one I'm talking about has no speech bubble surrounding it and it just pops out of nowhere a little under the middle of the screen. I need something that is much less invasive than the regular speech bubbles.

Well that's a stupid question. Just kidding! The key thing here is that you have to have your magic mouth placed on a sequencer. Then when you place your text in your magic mouth, there's a tweak in the menu that asks if you want the text to display as subtitles. Select yes and instead of the text appearing as a bubble it will be displayed along the bottom as subtitles. Note that the tweak is greyed out when not on a sequencer.
