Mighty Mite Tank Giveaway

| Level Password: 63952 One of our own members, Kratos 4, created a fantastic tank in LittleBigPlanet. He wanted to give it away, but he wanted to make sure LBPCentral members were the only ones who were able to get their hands on it. So, between us, we came up with the idea of password-protecting the level and publishing the password only in this thread. We ask you one thing: you may share the link to this thread, but please do not share the password itself. | Sorry guys. Its up and running now. Its not for just an hour. I was going to start it at 4pm but since we have it password protected I went ahead and put it. I say we leave it up till new years maybe. I dont know. My fault on level name. I have it listed now as LBPCentral Mighty Mite LBP7 Holiday Gift I can change it if LBPCentral wants. | Oldage... just do a search for rz22g and you should be able to pick it from the few I have on there. Killian.. if you stick it on a level reversed, before you deselect after pasting you might have to go in on the tank and controls on each piston and toggle it from stiff, to not stiff, back to stiff.... then deselect. Weird bug. You can try to paste it first but if the piston wig out, do the above to fix it. | ^ Did your browser basically say it couldn't load the page, so you resent the information? In doing that, it resent BOTH posts, thus resulting in this double post. This site has been having trouble loading on Firefox for several people, but it's nothing relatively common yet. | how do you get into the Tank..? In the level? After walking past the prize box and getting your tank prize, pick up the paintinator gun, shoot the discolored area on the side of the hill to get into bubble. Shoot discolored area on other side to walk on through to tank. Walk up to tank till back lowers. Jump up. Grab the black grab material right on bottom of pod and release. | The code is in the first message of this thread. Click the password box and it will reveal the code. Then green wires on the tank are what control it. They are visible in CREATE mode. You have to make a level with tank in it, save level, then play level. The wires will not be visible. | Insert the tank into your level. The grab that material to make it dissolve, freeing up the tank. That is necessary due to a bug in the 1.07 release that will not save wired objects unless they are connected physically. | Thanks... Hope its still bringing some traffic to LBP. Hello Kratos4. Their seems to be a problem with the tank, some points during the level, sometimes the tank got stuck and didn't move. You can hear the sound of the treads moving but the tank doesn't move an inch. I remember you said that the tank had a problem while it was on a smooth surface, and I encountered these problems while i was on the seesaw and while i was on the fire trying to reach the item bubble. | Hi... yeah it does that sometimes but its not the tread sticking. I have been trouble shooting it for a while. I had to remove the tank that you went head to head with because if you destroyed enough of it, the tank you were in would stop responding. I also had to remove the backup tank I had in the level in case you damaged the first one. If you got in the backup tank and had to shoot the first one to get over it, the one you were in would stop working. Its like the game sees the tanks as one object. Something I cant fix. The grabs now will just stop working sometimes and I have checked the controls. They are intact and operating, the emitters are just not responding. Im going to modify the travel control tomorrow though with two piston per side and see if that fixes it. I wish MM would get my tank and see what the heck is going on. | Ok I have redesigned that level, still not great but I think you will find it runs smoother and much less buggy. The tank not working sometimes was due to the last llevel. I never figured out what but with the new level, which is the old level with everything deleted and starting fresh, you can destroy the enemy tank and keep on going. Level is still not complete. Im going to tweak some. Oh and tank is still gift. In fact when you start the level you might not even notice it has changed. | Can someone who does not have Metal Gear Solid, please go get the prize at the beginning of the level and then try to insert it into a blank level. Let me know if it allows you to insert it or gives you the content message. Also let me know if the wires are attached and stay attached after you grab the dissolve. Working on that but have to wait till some LBP to release a patch to fix some issues. I might try sticking one extra in there for now. I just recently updated the tank so that its almost indestructible so try it out. You can still lose your cab but you have to really drive right under some incoming fire for that to happen. For those that got the tank gift before 1/8/09 you may have received a content message and not allowed to place the tank into your level.
