Movinator Cursor + Emitter

I would like to create a movinator cursor + an emitter. Example: When you put a smoke machine into the cursors circuit board,smoke follows the cursor. But when I try to put an emitter in the circuit board instead, which emits a fire projectile. It wont track the cursor position. Can someone please help me achieve this? Good question Xen. I've noticed that getting any thing to follow the cursor by placing it inside its chip is a bit tricky. I see what you mean about the smoke following the cursor but not the emitted object. Its kind of the same with the tag sensors too. Although that is an easy fix, still its very deceptive in that the min and max radius stay put on the movinator, but when placed on the chip it actually follows the cursor instead. | 2011-09-22 16:33:00 Author: Butaneflame Posts: 64 |
It is probably more reliable to stick just a tag on the cursor object and have an object chase that tag. That object might just as well be the cursor graphic itself in the form of a sticker panel. You can hide the cursor object's (default) cursor by setting its size (in its settings) to 0.
