I've finished the single player game and have played a bunch of user created levels. All tutorials done. I want to get started with designing stuff - initially designing "things" rather than levels. All I've made so far is a rocket powered cart. Here's what I've had in mind so far to create (but don't know/which materials to use). - A fun fair pirate ship (what would you use to make it swing??) - A roller coaster type thing (what would you use to make the track??)

To make the swing use a wobble bolt and set the angle to probably ninety and set it so the angle it swings at down (dont know how to explain that better <_<). then just put a grab switch on a sponge and connect it to the wobble bolt. and youve got a pirate ship mechanism! Roller coasters are much tougher to do because its hard to make a reliable train. it will usually get caught or just fly off the track, even if it has wheels on both sides. For the track just use a circle and drag it out for the shape you want.

Pirate ship - Either have winches in sync pulling up either side of the pirate ship, and have it attached to a bolt somewhere above so it swings. OR just use a wobble bolt, and ajust the angle and rotation to your liking. Rollecoaster - Use Linques very clever method, and use the principle of Decorative layers can fit through items that are glued together. So if you have the track and coaster (The rollercoaster should have 2 wheels above and 2 wheels below the track, better stability & allows to go upside down) in the back layer, and glue the real cart onto the "rollercoaster cart" in the back layer, you can then stick a a big lump decorative layer between the back layer and the middle layer, which means only the ccart that you sit in is visible
