Character Box

1. Make two holo bars like this then glue them together.

2. Put a microchip on each peice of holo with an impact sensor, set to include touching.
http://i53.tinypic.com/2s0kb6b.jpg
3. In the bottom microchip, add a not gate, a direction combiner, and an advanced mover. Wire as shown, set the acceleration of the adv. mover to 100%.

4.In the top microchip, add another direction combiner, another adv. mover, wire as shown. Leave the mover as is.

5. Glue a holo box onto the bars then put a DCS on it.

6. Inside of the DCS put an anti-gavity tweaker and an advanced mover. Set anti-grav to 60% dampening. Set the advanced mover to 3 speed and 100% acceleration.

7. Make another bar to use on the sides and put a microchip on it. Inside of the microchip put an inpact sensor, direction combiner and advanced mover. Wire as shown. Set impact sensor to include touching. Set advanced mover to 100% acceleration.

8. Copy previous hologram bar, rewire as shown, glue on left side.

9. It should look something like this at this stage

10. Copy the bar again, rewire as shown, glue on top.

11. What it should look like again..

Jumping

1. Put a microchip inside of your DCS, put a counter and another microchip inside of the first microchip and an advanced mover inside of the second microchip set at 7 speed and 100% acceleration. Wire the counter into the bottom of the second microchip. Set the counters target count to 2. *For ever 1 you set it higher you will be able to do another jump in the air. 3 = double jump, 4= triple jump, etc.

2. Put an AND gate, a direction splitter, a timer, and a NOT gate inside of the first microchip. Wire X from the DCS into the counter, AND gate, splitter, timer, and not gate. Wire the NOT gate into the reset of the time, wire the timer into the AND gate, wire the positive of the splitter into the top of the Advanced mover and the AND gate into the bottom of the advanced mover. Set the timer to .4 target time and input action to count down.

3. Wire the inpact sensor from the bottom bar under the holo box into the reset of the counter.

4. Should look like this

Animated Character

1. Make your sprites then put microchips on them.
http://i51.tinypic.com/2rdj41k.jpg
2. Open the microchips, put followers on them set to a tag, name the tag anything you want to. You can use tag sensors or a selector for your animations, I used tag sensors.. if you use tag sensors put a tag sensor in the microchip of every sprite and set it to a corresponding tag. Wire the tag sensors in the sprite it is on.
http://i55.tinypic.com/214uvky.jpg
Copy the sprites, flip them, change the color on the tag sensors.
http://i56.tinypic.com/2vnqfqq.jpg
Set up a sequencer for each color set, arrange the tags in order. (There are more tags on the sequencers than sprites because I added some going backwards so the wings would look smooter going back up..) Put a tag with the same color/name as the followers on the sprites.
http://i53.tinypic.com/sfa0zb.jpg
Take out a Direction Splitter, 2 NOT gates and 2 OR gates. Wire the leff/right of the left stick from the DCS into the Direction Splitter. Wire the splitter into the NOT gates, the OR gates, and the starts of the sequencers as shown. Wire the NOT gates into the OR gates and the OR gates into the resets of the sequencers.

Now you need a way so your character wont dissapear when you arent moving. Take out a selector, a NOT gate, 2 AND gates, and 2 tags. Wire the splitter into the selector and the selector into the AND gates as shown, wire the output of the left/right of the left stick from the DCS into the NOT gate, wire the NOT gate into the AND gates and the AND gates into the tags. Change the tag color and name it as one of your sprite with regard to left/right so that if you just moved left, then stopped, the sprite will be facing that direction.

Using Sackbots to control characters

Set up a wall 1 layer forward.
http://i55.tinypic.com/2me61ja.jpg
Set up a peice of holo with DCS's/Follower/tag that you would normally do to control a sackbot.
http://i56.tinypic.com/xng6qd.jpg
Make your custom character stuff, take that microchip and put it in the DCS thats on the holo. Put the tag that your sprites follow in your DCS. Wire the left/right of the left stick into the splitter again.
http://i51.tinypic.com/11qh8oi.jpg
Then you can control your character with a sackbot running behind a wall.

You can change speeds on movers to what you want, but making them too fast will overpower the bars on the sides and make it go through walls.

If you put a battery inside of a sequencer, shorten the sequencer to fit around the battery, hook the battery into the cycle of a selector, then hook the selector into your sprites and set the sequencer to .1, you'll get smoother animations.

If I missed anything tell me.
