Uh, not to be mean or anything, but maybe give a better description on what the boss must do and what the boss might look like. Maybe it's appearance might help us understand what you might want. What's the theme? Are you in a bakery, a factory, someone's house, is it a cake making machine that has gone haywire? It's hard to help give ideas when we don't know what the rules are. That's why you get answers like , nukes. What is the theme? Where is the boss battle? Why is the player trying to stop them? (To free all the bakers etc.) Otherwise, people will simply give off the wall answers like shooting nukes from the moon. Which isn't going to help you much.

How about a boss that is a big mecha dinosaur Nazi wolf zombie. It fights by attacking the player with a big metal bar and poorly cut out Justin Bieber heads and its weakness is Cheetos and/or cans of Monster.

Wow, no need to troll. The boss is in an old Factory, he/ she fights it to save the Cosmos. It also is in a tight space. Maybe your on to something with the bouncing off the walls... No it is not a contest... Don't know where you got that idea...

If it's pastery themed why not have it spit out cupcakes with feet that walk forward to execute kamikaze-style attacks; like instead of candles on top of them have sticks of dynamite and when they get close to a sackboy they explode.

If you are stuck for inspiration, go look up video game boss fights over at youtube. Or play your own favorite games (from the past?). You won't have to copy a boss ability, because if you apply it properly in its new context (cake) then it will be shiny and new, as original as the original. Boss fights with bosses that have multiple abilities often center around opposing mechanics that force you to pay attention and be fast on the reflexes: for instance, keep moving and don't stand still or you will attract the missiles. Meanwhile the boss will block your path and cause you to slow down. Then suddenly, short phase change and you MUST stand still or else the big energy explosion will freeze you into place and the missiles will surely hit you in the next phase again. I made this all up as I typed.

if its in a kitchen, make it take some mini cakes off the shelves and make them float around him as a shield, than after a while the shields will launch on the ground. Make it grow a cake-flail.

Got my boss attacks now. They are: wall-bouncing bombs, cake meanies and no-floor. Final one is it's special attack. Not as stupid as it sounds. Oh. And... they're ALL made by me!
