Are there any ways to draw a straight line with the Paint tool? My lines always come out wavy. Thanks!!!!

I can't draw a straight line either, but you can make a straight line sticker. With a transparent background, use the brush tool with the white square sticker as your brush and stamp it down. Then switch to the eraser tool and stamp away so you have a long narrow strip of white. Save that as a sticker, and you have a straight line. Just use the color picker to change from white to anything else. Maybe there's an easier way? This is what I've been doing.

draw what you want on paper first. it would be best to use a black marker pen. capture the image with the PSEye and then clean it up with the paint tools. DONE!

I've been sitting here thinking "I wonder if you can use the stickers to erase?". Yesterday, I was trying to put black squares end on end!!! So I guess that means you can just change the colour also? That annoyed me, "Why can't you just change the colour!?". As much as I like it, it does need a grid and angle snap, my hands are not that steady.

Snapping would be great, but the big square, delete most of it as straight as possible that Pookachoo mentions seems to be the only way...

Why couldn't they have added a controller option for painting? It would've been much easier with the analogue stick.

You could ask the same of the tilting mini games and the brain crane, you could use six axis for it... But no one would buy a Move.

You could change the brush to a sticker instead of the pen, and use the black line sticker or white one, paste the line and then save it. Then paste it onto the sticker panel material. If you want a different colour line, just change the colour of the sticker panel. Another more unusual way would be to think outside the box (or game literally ha). Get a long thick piece of real wood or a box with a long straight edge, and position the move paint cursor where you want to start drawing the line. Now, place the edge of the actual move controller against the edge of the wood and drag it down the lenght of the wood (the same as if your using a ruler to draw a straight line. Just make sure that the wood or controller doesnt slide or slip. Hope this helps.

Another more unusual way would be to think outside the box (or game literally ha). You're right. The real problem isn't that the paint tool lacks the ability to draw straight lines but that we are attempting to compose these lines with shaky meat-hands! If we could simply remove the human element there would be no limit to what the paint tool could accomplish! I eagerly await the YouTube video of somebody's robot painting a fractal.

But interestingly, you can see the create mode in Paint mode. So if you rig up a camera, you can trace something you've made or a photo you've taken. Strangely, you can't change the colour of something you've made? And don't forget, you can shape the Sticker Panel material and just colour it...with any colour you like, gone darn it!!! Because that's the age with live in now

PSeye will open in Paint... you can also set the image as a background and trace that way. The idea of the see through in create mode is something I want to explore when I get a chance to see if it's reliable.
