Tundra Ruins [1P / Hard]

From the level description:

This is a level made to be punishing and difficult, while still featuring elaborate design. The obstacles are simple and not flashy, and seek multiple ways of using a currently popular gimmick in levels.

The art in the level is incomplete due to mistakes made in design and increasing problems with sticker corruption (look into this,MM!) However, the level layout is still playable from beginning to end.

This level was made to use Move Paint to create original assets. What you don't see in the description (due to advertising reasons, gotta keep it positive) is that I am unhappy with the way the graphics turned out and I feel I could have done much better artistically. I would continue attempting to make the level look better and better, but I have non-LBP related projects I need to get back to.

No insane uses of logic, no complex machinery, just an old fashioned level and if I make any more levels it'll be much like this one (just with different types of obstacles.)

I ended up bumping the level towards the top of newest levels since I only got a couple of plays via forums anyway.

Changed the topic to have new URL.

Change the title to "extremely hard"

I genuinely enjoy a nice challenge (check my play history!), rarely turn away from a hard level, but you have gone too far here IMO. It's not that I'd rather you alter your obs down, but you provide only single life check points and quite spaced apart too, it's not fun having to restart every 8-10mins. I've often praised others whenever I see the odd double life check point or for not holding my hand thru every last detail, and I myself put up a hard level recently - and by "hard" I mean "hard", not "bat-$h**-crazy-hard" .... Just hard lol and even on that someone commented on the fact that during a boss like encounter I "only" give 2 x double life check point.

Even if some of the best loved creators put a very well medium balanced level out and only gave single life checkpoints spread far apart, there would be spam in the thousands complaining. Just giving you my honest advice - if you want to put up a hard level, take care that a player going in isn't going to be put off by the learning curve/difficulty vs your life allowance. And you simply gotta take my word for this, if I'm turning away from it, you have indeed gone too far!

(btw, if you do enjoy challenging levels, check my history, I've done about 4 very hard ones, really enjoyable in the last 5-10 days, wasn't on much over weekend... I review pretty much everything I play that's worth reviewing, so look for challenging tag and "I enjoyed" in the review and u will be in for a treat.)

Bump.

I have added an easy difficulty setting for those that have trouble with the level. The level doesn't change as much as I would like (due to a bug in the game), but it is there.

@Masseyf: I already mentioned on PSN that I fully intend to stick with the checkpoint system that I have currently, and that the level was supposed to have an easy difficulty setting before I ran into problems.
