Hmmm... we definitely had an ATARI at some stage when I was pretty young. Can't remember the games at all though. After that my first game would have to have been something on the Megadrive. Doubt it was Sonic, we had a compilation game so it could have been pac-man or the football game on it. Or any number of other games on the Megadrive. We had a shmup can't remember the name... that's what I remember playing most often with my bros. | 2008-12-23 18:09:00 Author: Burrich Posts: 1018 |

The first game I remember playing was Ultima 4. Most of you would not have heard of it, the most modern iteneration is Ultima Online, and Ultima 7 was said to be the peak of the series. It stills stands out in my mind as it was a great, long and challenging game where moral choices had an impact on the gameplay. You were rewarded for being good, and I don't mean in a few extra points on a scoreboard way. In all honesty, I can't think of any other game in existance that worked so well at the complexities of moral behaivour. And this is a game that's well over 20 years old. This would have been 2 decades ago mind you, when many of you may not have been born. When we had CGA graphics (don't ask) and 8086 processes (don't ask again). I do remember having some old atari system, I think the first real console I remember was the Mega Drive (Genesis in the US) and Sonic the Hedgehog. I did have a Commodore 64, but don't really remember any of the games on it. None of them have stood the test of time. When I was in High School I met a friend talking about Kings Quest V. This was way, way before what Sierra is currently doing with stuff like Half Life 2. Yeah, I'm way old. | 2008-12-26 10:42:00 Author: Elbee23 Posts: 1280 |
Crash Bandicoot. The original game on Playstation 1. I was about 6 or 7. It's still my favourite game of all time (lbp is a very close second). | 2008-12-26 14:00:00 Author: muttjones Posts: 843 |

Sonic The Hedgehog on the Mega Drive. Nearly the same as this, but on the Master System. My parents recorded my birthday unwrapping the master system. I didn't have a clue what it was and just plonked it on the side LOL! | 2008-12-27 02:05:00 Author: ryryryan Posts: 3767 |
