Weird Movement Bug/Glitch

Archive: 4 posts

So. I've been working on a new level, just a simple platformer, when a friend joined. I never saw him do anything shady, and in fact he knows and respects me enough not to, so I don't blame him. However, once he joined the level started acting weirdly.

Whenever more then one person is on it, in either create or play mode. One person is always frozen and can not move. Pausing and Unpausing transfers the effect to someone else, in play mode, dying transfers the effect. This is horrendously annoying and was wondering if anyone knew of any way to fix this.

The only thing aside from building the level that I have changed, was I dropped the gravity to 60%. Now messing with the gravity has not fixed the issue so I don't believe it to be the cause, but I have no idea what could be causing this!

Anyone have a clue? I don't want to have to scrap the level and start again :|

(If this is a known issue, I tried the search function and it brought up nothing related to bugs for the 5 pages I sifted through >.> )

I can't say that i know what's going on, but that sounds very odd...............2011-09-17 03:06:00

When you say 'one player is frozen' are you talking of a real person or a bot that is being controlled?2011-09-17 10:38:00

The actual players sackboy/girl. You pop out of the entrance, hit the ground, then one person in the group gets stuck and can not move. If they blow themselves up, the effect transfers. If in create mode, flying is also affected by at least one person and pausing and unpausing the create mode will transfer the effect. This is very annoying! I tried copy pasting what I've made to a new level and when a friend gets on to test I'll see if that fixes it :|2011-09-17 20:33:00
