Well, I am a spanish 21 years old repairmen, and I am an LBP player since last year, when I discovered this game thanks to a promotion. The game with the videoconsole. Otherwishe I wouldn't never discovered it. I love sandbox games because they allow you to use your imagination and do (almost) wathever you want, rather than being in a world where everything is already set and you can't do anything to change anything in your world. However, I am a very bad level designer, so I focus more in my main field: electronics. In LBP 1, I made logic gates using pistons and key sensors. I managed to make even functional flip-flops with them, and it was very usefull back in that time. but since LBP2, I don't need them anymore. Now I made a working RAM memory, that you can test trough my profile, and I am currently working on a basic digital calculator, using this memory, a basic circuit called "adder", and a keypad with lots of logic. I still need to make a few more circuits before making it actually work. What made me register in this website, is one player telling me about an article in the blogs about analogic signals on LBP. I found a level with an osciloscope, and when I asked the author of the level about it, he told me to read that blog article. Then, I came here and found that this site has some blogs, so I found it interesting and decided to register and make this post. I hope to share a lot of good things with you. Regards, >Magnus

Hi Magnus. Welcome to LBPC. It's great to hear about your promotion and the doors it has opened for you. I am also in Engineering, and I thoroughly enjoy buidling some of the concepts I have in the physics-based LBP create mode. It is a great place to experiment and tinker, which it sounds like you do a lot of that also. Please let me know when you finish your digital calculator, so I can try it out. See you around.
