Those sure are some qualifications! I'm still looking for an honest man...

No? Stop? OK.

It looks like they are shooting for three more months of development. Sounds about right anyway.

It's worth noting that if the skills listing above is a bit daunting, that's only because it's all disorganised. Most of the above is just general stuff and If you check the proper Job Listing on the Tarsier website (http://tarsier.se/jobs/level-sound-implementer), it should become a lot clearer.

To clarify, we're specifically looking for someone who is awesome at implementing audio within LBP. The key skills list really boil down to:

Excellent skills in LBP Create Mode
Extensive experience of using the LBP2 Sound Objects library
Excellent understanding of game design

That means knowing the LBP sound tools and how to use them to great effect within the editor and so really we're looking for community guys (who knows the LBP tools better than you?). Professional experience is always a bonus, but it's what you can do with sound in LBP that really matters.

Good luck to everyone applying

I think the "relocating to another country" for three months shoots it down for me. I can't see the ROI there unless they put you up in a free flat or hotel that is close. Unless there is also a free or cheap transportation service. It just seems offhand you would pay more to work there. (i.e I do have a mortgage, bills, and utilities here at home regardless. None of which does me any good as far as living there.)

Plus being away from home for 3 months with no real chance to come home weekends. Other than that, it "sounds" like fun and I am pretty darn good at sound in levels. ..I would just hate to be away from my girlfriend that long. Would be tough!

I don't think there is an age restriction of 25, but I'm sure there is one. More likely around 16 or 18...2011-09-19 14:24:00

It sounds (c what I did that?) like a great chance for work that I would actually love to do, but alas I must agree with Jw. The 3 months away from home is a bit overwhelming or at least it is for me.2011-09-21 04:03:00

I'm interested, but I'm still a little confused about what it is exactly that I'd be doing. What do you mean by implementing audio, for example? Does that mean creating songs, or just knowing when and where to put the sound effects well - e.g. Making doors sound like the open and close when they do so, wind, rain etc?2011-09-23 15:30:00
