Make music loop to a specific position.

Hello people,

I re-created this old Game Gear Sonic tune (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Tgz-a_fArk) with the sequencer, and I want it to loop. BUT, this music begins with no drum, and I want this part to be skipped when the music restarts.

I already tried to put the intro instruments in a sequencer, directly followed by the rest of the song in a separate sequencer tweaked to "loop", but there's a 1 second delay between the instruments and the sequencer.

Any idea, tip or pro-tip to achieve this goal ?

You can't. Someone may suggest to use timed logic or to use two music players in sequence (one for opening, one for loop), but you will find out it is not up to standards.

Mm could improve a lot about the music sequencer.

What you can do for now is to repeat the looped part on your sequencer a few times. Then, if real looping is inevitable (i.e., you don't have a new song starting before the end of the first track), you might want to add a bit of music of your own that brings the song to a not too abrupt end so that the reboot of the song sounds okay.

If you can do the whole piece with Sound Objects rather than on the Music Sequencer, then you have a lot more options as to when you want to trigger them.
