Shape Shift by comphermc

Hooray for Move pack! In celebration, I have made a level that showcases many of the new tools, materials, and decorations that can be found within. The good news is that you don't need Move to enjoy it!

Thus, I present Shape Shift. It's a classic block-swapping game that was inspired by the iPad game of the same name. In it, the objective is to destroy blocks to earn points. To destroy the blocks, you can swap any two that have the same shape; if you manage to make four of the same color touch, they will explode! There are a few powerups as well, but you can experience those first-hand.

If you want to play with a Move cursor, just toggle that setting in the Options menu.

Really fun, addictive little mini-game here, Comph!

I thought the menu layout was excellent! I liked how easy and intuitive it was to navigate around & it looked really smart! The ability to go into other windows away from the main game was a nice touch. The overall design of the level is pleasing, too. A real "Back to school " feel!

The gameplay was fun. I was a little slow on the uptake at first, but after a little bit of practice, I got the hang of it easily. I loved getting a combo chain going!

Shame the scoreboards are out, eh? I scored 14,460. Wether that's good or bad, I don't know. I do know that i'm going back to try and beat it though!

Shame indeed! I had expected them to come back with Move, but we have to wait until 1.07 now. At any rate, not a bad score. My fiancee has taken over my PS3 and she's been playing it on repeat. She's getting scores just over 50k! I need those scoreboards back!

As what Mr_T-Shirt said, it's fun and addictive.

VISUALS:
The level has very neat desk table like visuals with well descriptive tutorials, spacing the blocks, and well used menu.

SOUND:
Great music choices for this level that players had the option to change it.

GAMEPLAY:
The shape/color shifting puzzle makes this one a very fun level, and the multiplier and bomb blocks are a great addition, despite a mild lag. My score is about 15k.

OVERALL:
An great level that is as fun as playing Tetris, Lumines, and Mystic Gem. It's worth playing again once I get my hands on PS Move and the scoreboard is back up. A yay, heart, and positive feedback.		2011-09-17 19:04:00

For anyone wanted to get more out of the level whilst the scoreboards are still disabled, my fiancee (who is addicted to this level) scored 140,000 earlier tonight. I have no idea how she did it, and I captured a picture, but the network went down. Best that!

Queued and can't wait to get back on my ps3! I've never played a comphermc level I haven't hearted (I think). Gonna play the hell out of it tomorrow, and when I get a move controller in about a week, and when the scoreboards are back up! 2011-09-19 22:25:00
