| 60GB... I hope it never gives out on me... This. The Best Buys wanted them gone. Gave my family a free Sixaxis controller and Heavenly Sword with the purchase. | 2008-12-23 04:50:00 Author: Unknown User |
I've got the only 80 gig without B/C, apparently. ![]() | 2008-12-23 04:53:00 Author: BassDeluxe Posts: 984 |

| I have a 40GB. All PS3 models actually play PS1 games, JSYK. | 2008-12-23 15:44:00 Author: Entity Posts: 274 |
I somehow managed to score a used 60 GB in perfect condition, with MGS4, GTA4, GT5 rologue, Rock Band + Accessories and a couple of Blu-Ray movies for a steal. Best 550$ CAD I ever spent.I've been taking care of it regularly ever since. So far it's still working as great as the day I got it ![]() To be very honest though, I don't play many PS2 games on it. I still see plenty of PS2s on sale at ridiculously low prices, so I don't think having no B/C is that much of an issue, at least not up here in Canada. | 2008-12-23 15:56:00 Author: Gilgamesh Posts: 2536 |

| Mine's a 60gb with software BC. It's not on the list though... All 60GB models had backwards compatibility; the poll just has one 60GB option because the backwards compatibility is a given. | 2008-12-23 16:26:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |

| 60 gigs are the best. Because... It shows that you own one of the originally made PS3's It has SD Slots and 4 USB plug slots And it can play PS2 and PS1 games. (Which owns). Even though it dosen't have the most memory you can always purchase a cheap hardrive (external or internal) for it. Which owns. Now i bet you late buyers are wishing you had gone for it earlier so you could have been sitting down playing Timesplitters: Future perfect in beautiful blurry quality before you bought any PS3 games 60 gb for me... ?500 on UK release 23rd March 2007 and still running... Ohh yeh... Lol, i bought mine for ?425 on UK release day from amazon and it arrived on the doorstep before i left for school ![]() | 2008-12-23 19:34:00 Author: lordflash11 Posts: 194 |

| Sorry if I sound like a noob but my PS3 is a 80gb and it plays ps1 games but not ps2 games, is this backwards compatibility? No, that's no B/C. All PS3s can play PS1 games, so your's is no B/C. And yes, Whaaaaaale, there IS a 20 gig PS3- it was 500 dollars when it launched. It was soon discontinued due to being pretty much useless :/. | 2008-12-24 13:18:00 Author: RockSauron Posts: 10882 |
| So downloading 'Home' on the 20gig is basically 1.5/10 of the memory :o ouch.. | 2008-12-24 13:20:00 Author: Boomy Posts: 3701 |
| I have the newer 80gig pretty sure that means it is without B/C which is a shame since otherwise I would borrow Kingdom Hearts 1&2 from a friend. | 2008-12-26 04:24:00 Author: Lazerus101 Posts: 12 |
| I'm glad I bought one the early 60GB models. Still plenty of room on it for now, but I can envision having to upgrade the hd sooner or later. | 2008-12-27 08:44:00 Author: Shalatii Posts: 103 |
| friend at work sold a 60 gig with motorstorm and an extra controller for $400 new i probably wouldn't have a ps3 if i didn't snag that deal @_@ | 2008-12-27 08:47:00 Author: RagnarokRed Posts: 29 |
