Heys guys, seeing as youre a nice bunch. I was wondering if you guys could help me out with my games decisions when I get a PS3 in 8 days. Mucho Grathias!

I'm sorry to answer your question with a question but, what types of games do you generally like? I could easily suggest Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Call of Duty 4(which I have for 360 but, it's great). I'd also recommend to at least rent Heavenly Sword. They say it's 6 hours long but, if you like beat-em-up type games, you'll get a kick out of it. On a side note, I'm about ready to buy Heavenly Sword but, I'm waiting for it to get cheaper.

I enjoyed Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, actually. Also, if you are creative and don't get bored with something easily, a game called PAIN is pretty fun(it's a 10$ game off of the PSN) and they are releasing a new area to use in the very near future.

Also, if you are creative and don't get bored with something easily, a game called PAIN is pretty fun(it's a 10$ game off of the PSN) and they are releasing a new area to use in the very near future. 2nd September ain't it? I wouldn't recommend getting this game for the trophies though, they look impossible..

Very true. Most of them are extremely difficult to get. It keeps me playing, though. Yup, but I Suck at PAIN lol. I've unlocked all the little different PAINdemonium parts, and the gold on everything else lol... Doesn't mean I enjoyed it though :O Was tooo hard by far.

Well I don't know if you're into MGS or not, but I got the bundle... Good price, considering it's an 80GB PS3 and the game. I heard stores will be restocking on it sometime soon (even though I did see a few of them at the Virgin Megastore in NY, Time Square...). Anyhoo, it's all about what you like. So shoot and tell us. ;D

Im into all games, though I probably want games that are exclusive or better on the PS3 as I already have a sexbox, having COD4, GTA4 already... Though I think Ill definitley be getting MGS and some Pixel Junk stuff, how about older games that I could get cheap ?

I suggest Assassins Creed but its also on Xbox 360 And i realy suggest Metal Gear Solid only... If you haven't played al other parts it a bit boring story

if u like 1st person shooters skip over call of duty 4 and get BattleField: Bad Company. Its probably at its best online so only get this if u can be bothered setting up your internet. Otherwise get uncharted: drakes fortune or Metal Gear Solid 4. I havent played much of MGS but from what i hav done it is awesome. Its also so long so you get your moneys worth. Uncharted is perhaps my favourite game of all time, especially on the ps3 (until i get LBP) but its pretty short cos it only took me 11 hours to beat although to complete it 100% you have to play it through several times. Hope that helped

I'd say, Uncharted if you like adventure games, MGS4 if you've played the other games, Wait for Motorstorm 2, Ratchet and Clank is good especially with the new budget price. Warhawk is pretty fun online and Buzz, so that I can own you online with my vast (read; small) knowledge.

Some cheap games that I would get are Warhawk and Orange Box. I would also get Resistance and Ratchet and Clank Future; but those aren't as cheap as the listed before:hero:grr

save some money, buy the 80 gig mgs4 pack... it's alot better, it has 2 more usb ports and card readers... and KIND CRAPPY BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY! ( free of charge ) all for 500 bucks... and it comes with mgs4 which is 59.99 which means you spend 40 bucks on 3 card readers,and 2 usb ports, and hardware for backwards compatibility... which even not installed in the ps3 will cost 100 bucks all together... it's a good deal p.s i sold my mgs4 on the spot for 30 bucks.. i wasent a fan and i just bought full auto 2... i personally think i like full auto 2 better then mgs4, and i dident have to pay anything extra except tax on the game...

To be honest, I cant really see the point, for me, to get the mgs version as I don't have any ps2 games, I wouldn't use the card reader and the usb ports wouldn't really be worth the price tag. I'll probably get the cheapest one i can find and swap out a larger harddrive.
