<em>Whats up with this?</em>

Im sure some of you have seen the leaked move pack level thats out, the one you can onlt get to by using dive in. Well, in its description, I noticed around the important text(such as "LittleBigPlanet 2" and "Playstation Move") there was <em>inserttexthere</em>. Is this possibly some sort of code for the infamous colored text we dont have access to? Probably not, considering it didnt work(I also tried it in my level description, nothing :/). If not, then what is it? | 2011-09-12 01:44:00 Author: ATMLVE ![]() Posts: 1177 |

I remember someone stating that was used for color text, but it won't appear correctly or something like that if we try to do it ourselves. | 2011-09-12 01:59:00 Author: warlord_evil ![]() Posts: 4193 |
I'm pretty sure that's for pink text. It would be nice if it worked for us and not just Mm. ![]() | 2011-09-12 02:03:00 Author: lemurboy12 ![]() Posts: 842 |

Ah, so I was right. I didnt know only MM could use it though, thats a little unfair... Ill add it to the list of stuff MM has that we dont. Theres no glitch to make it work, is there? | 2011-09-12 02:40:00 Author: ATMLVE ![]() Posts: 1177 |
Not that I know of 8^( | 2011-09-12 02:50:00 Author: lve_msg ![]() Posts: 408 |
Hmm, I suppose if you dont know of anything, theres a tiny percentage chance anyone else does... | 2011-09-12 03:13:00 Author: ATMLVE ![]() Posts: 1177 |
Maybe it works with a E%00 whatever? (forgot the Unicode code...) | 2011-09-12 03:52:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
I'll have to try this later... if there is a way to do it, I must find it! | 2011-09-12 18:44:00 Author: xero ![]() Posts: 2419 |
Unless the text in the story levels is flagged as an exception or Mm are using a different magic mouth with additional functionality there's almost certainly a way to use tags like <em>/<i>/<u> or whatever. | 2011-09-12 18:59:00 Author: Ayneh ![]() Posts: 2454 |
Unless the text in the story levels is flagged as an exception or Mm are using a different magic mouth with additional functionality there's almost certainly a way to use tags like <em>/<i>/<u> or whatever. Well, if you recall, MM used a special laser object in their Metal Gear Solid pack that was unavailable to players. The laser found in MM objects was tweakable, whereas the prize version you earn in the pack is not. Who's to say they wouldn't do it again? | 2011-09-12 19:23:00 Author: xero ![]() Posts: 2419 |
Unless the text in the story levels is flagged as an exception or Mm are using a different magic mouth with additional functionality... That's actually pretty much what it is. I remember some people were able to get ahold of story mode magic mouths with pink text; the pink text worked until they edited it, then it just became normal text with visible <em> tags. | 2011-09-12 19:43:00 Author: Blue Helmet ![]() Posts: 306 |
Its a html code that MM use in languege files for formating, they also have it for icons, sadly it's not working for us They not use unicode html codes as we do, the fact that unicode show them is because thsoe icons are in game charset, fact that it works is only side effect to actully able to type in custom unicodes | 2011-09-12 20:08:00 Author: Shadowriver ![]() Posts: 3991 |
I remember some people were able to get ahold of story mode magic mouths with pink text; the pink text worked until they edited it, then it just became normal text with visible <em> tags. One way to test it would be to take a story mode magic mouth, delete one character and replace it with the same character and see if the tags still have effect. | 2011-09-14 16:22:00 Author: Ayneh ![]() Posts: 2454 |
Yeah, this has actually been around for a while. Right back before even LBP1 was released people knew about </em> but it's never worked for us. Shame really. Pink text would be awesome! | 2011-09-14 22:51:00 Author: alexbull_uk ![]() Posts: 1287 |
