We now have the instruments included in the move pack! For previews of each instrument, head on over to LBP2 Blog (http://blog.lbp2blog.com/move-pack-sequencer-instruments-previews/) I thought it was worth uploading here. So here goes: Plucked: Double bass Pizzicato Ektera Strings legato Strings pizzicato Violin spiccato (col legno) Tuned: Glass harmonica Marimba Kalimba Music box Vibraphone Voices: Choir "aah" Wind: Bassoon Brass Clarinet Move: Koto Nylon guitar As a film composer myself, I am very pleased with these, we even have a real guitar which will be helpful! Many thanks to LBP2 Blog for supplying this info! | 2011-09-11 22:15:00 Author: Alternative_sack Posts: 409 |

This is exciting news. I heard of the new sequencer instruments, but had no idea specifically what instruments were in store for us until now. Thanks! | 2011-09-11 22:50:00 Author: xero Posts: 2419 |

Ever since LBP2's launch I had been praying for pizzicato strings, tubular bells, and a music box. I'm so happy. ;_; | 2011-09-12 04:06:00 Author: Frinklebumper Posts: 941 |
Music Box? Time to make some creepy levels. | 2011-09-12 04:14:00 Author: SLS10 Posts: 1129 |
I love it! This feature is pretty much the only real reason I'll buy the darn thing... Now if I can only find someone with Move to walk me through the levels! Or I suppose I'll just have to wait until Christmas. Pardon me... there is drool on my keyboard. | 2011-09-12 04:16:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
This feature is pretty much the only real reason I'll buy the darn thing... Now if I can only find someone with Move to walk me through the levels! Or I suppose I'll just have to wait until Christmas. We all need to start finding "Move Buddies". I say we get four player matches with at least 1 player with a Move and get cracking at these levels! :hero: | 2011-09-12 04:27:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
We all need to start finding "Move Buddies". I say we get four player matches with at least 1 player with a Move and get cracking at these levels! :hero: Heh. I would not mind helping out my friends who don't have MOVE, As I do own a MOVE. but sadly... my net I'm using for now until I'm able to get something better. is not good enough to join others with. :S *mew PS: you can get MOVEs real cheap from eBay. I got mine for 21$ xP | 2011-09-12 05:10:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Dang it, now I need Move to use new instruments That's $104.98 (approx.), cash or credit? | 2011-09-12 05:26:00 Author: 49er Nation Posts: 429 |
you don't NEED a move. You just need the move pack and someone online WITH a move. Luckly i have one and i know 2-3 (not sure bout 1) people with it as well, so i'll be able to do the (possible) multi-challanges w/ them. OT: i love these instrements, but the vocals aren't as good as i was hoping for. I guess they'll do | 2011-09-12 06:52:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |

the thing where you can make stickers? oh yeah is move still required for that? | 2011-09-13 05:05:00 Author: AbsurdAj Posts: 37 |
yes. the move is your paintbrush | 2011-09-13 06:46:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
the thing where you can make stickers? Sticker Panel is a new material, and once you've seen it, you'll probably never use Hologram ever again. | 2011-09-13 07:19:00 Author: Aya042 Posts: 2870 |
Well, although the only real thing I'm going to get this DLC for is the instruments, eventually down the road when I purchase Move it will be more than for just this game. I'd like to help develop my 3-year old's motor skills and get her the EyePet game. It's so freakin' cute! Anyways, gaming is something I always loved and I think the Move is something the three of us can all do at home together as a family, and have fun to boot! But man are those instruments going to change the game... I'm wondering if I can actually produce an orchestral-type score that sounds somewhere decent. | 2011-09-13 15:44:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
@aya: he was talking about the paint tool :/ also: TODAY'S THE DAY! (at least for us U.S./canada folk ) | 2011-09-13 16:09:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
TODAY'S THE DAY! (at least for us U.S./canada folk ) Nope. Its the 14th, same as EU | 2011-09-13 16:28:00 Author: Alternative_sack Posts: 409 |
Nope. Its the 14th, same as EU Nope, NA store updates one day ealier, you may not notice but so far they always got DLC one day ealier first | 2011-09-13 16:40:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
Nope. Its the 14th, same as EU Really? I was all excited for today too. When did they say it was for all regions? EDIT: *Sees Shadowriver's post* | 2011-09-13 16:43:00 Author: maddoggnick96 Posts: 272 |
Nope, NA store updates one day ealier, you may not notice but so far they always got DLC one day ealier first I have an American account, I looked and its not out. Plus Lbp.com said its out on 14th in NA | 2011-09-13 16:49:00 Author: Alternative_sack Posts: 409 |
I have an American account, I looked and its not out. Plus Lbp.com said its out on 14th in NA It's not out yet because the store hasn't updated yet. The US store always updates on Tuesdays & yea it says 14th on the website but if you would read Pricing & Availability Release date: 09/14/2011 Release dates may vary, depending on your territory. Price: ?TBA / ?TBA / US $TBA / Link (http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/game_guide/ps3/downloadable_content/littlebigplanet_2_move_pack/) | 2011-09-13 16:51:00 Author: lve_msg Posts: 408 |
@aya: he was talking about the paint tool :/ I interpreted his first sentence as a query as to whether Shadowriver's use of the phrase "sticker panel" was referring to the paint tool or not... which I doubt it was. Nope. Its the 14th, same as EU I doubt that. The PSN Store usually updates on Tuesdays around 5pm EST for North America, so they should be able to get their hands on it in about 5 hours. It's actually available in Europe right now, if you have a PSN redemption code, and you have a chance to win one in this thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=63219-The-LBPC-DLC-Lottery-(ends-soon!)) if you post there in the next 6 hours. Edit: double sniped? ouch | 2011-09-13 16:55:00 Author: Aya042 Posts: 2870 |
Sticker Panel is a new material, and once you've seen it, you'll probably never use Hologram ever again. Unless you actually want to see where your wires are going... | 2011-09-13 17:19:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
Unless you actually want to see where your wires are going... Huh. Totally didn't notice that. To clarify for others, it's not the wires that are invisible, but the small circular connection points on the material. You can still select the wires as if they were still there, though. On the plus side, it's perfect for signal probes in Create Mode - you can see the difference in this image: Hologram on the left, and Sticker Panel on the right... http://i5.lbp.me/img/ft/b452edd2cdf07fb67d627d062f1cd94e5632e170.png Edit: Oh, if it's not clear, the reason you can't see most of the wires is they're hidden using the "Hide Outgoing Wires when Circuitboard is Closed" option on the Microchip just below the display, but the one which connects to the Sackperson shape on the right of the display should clarify the difference. | 2011-09-13 18:20:00 Author: Aya042 Posts: 2870 |
I for will one will be exercising restraint and using subtlety in my custom music, not going overboard with the new instruments just because they are new and exciting. After all, nothing gets old more quickly than the cutting edge...! Bah, who am I kidding. | 2011-09-13 18:22:00 Author: weirdybeardy Posts: 123 |

After all, nothing gets old more quickly than the cutting edge...! Bah, who am I kidding. As long as good music is made with the new instruments, then I don't really mind, if I'm honest. I should think the music men (and women) of LBP can twist the instruments into something very good indeed! | 2011-09-13 19:18:00 Author: FlipMeister Posts: 631 |
Ahem. So, bassoon, eh? That should be loads of fun! | 2011-09-13 19:46:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
That's a lot of new instruments to look forward to. But I'm also looking forward to the next patch in the hope that they'll fix the Music sequencer and change the volume of the current instruments back to the way they were before 1.06. | 2011-09-14 14:42:00 Author: D-E-S_87 Posts: 148 |

But I'm also looking forward to the next patch in the hope that they'll fix the Music sequencer and change the volume of the current instruments back to the way they were before 1.06. The sequencer could benefit from a pre-amp output that can be controlled via sensor to allow fade-ins and fade-outs, with a range of 0%-200%. | 2011-09-14 15:38:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |
there should be Music sequencer tags that allow you to jump from position to position. you could have 4 - 5 different tracks, incidental music/ambient sounds and could also set the chorus up to work at intervals | 2011-09-14 15:57:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |
there should be Music sequencer tags that allow you to jump from position to position. you could have 4 - 5 different tracks, incidental music/ambient sounds and could also set the chorus up to work at intervals If what I've read here on LBPC is true, by placing multiple music sequencers on a regular sequencer, you can use batteries or some other signal to move the current position on the regular sequencer to select between tracks without the annoying 3-second shut down/start-up delay when switching music manually. I haven't tested it and can't recall where I remember reading that, now... so I very well could be wrong. However, there's no real way to smoothly transition or fade in/out indivudal channels within a single sequencer, which would be ideal, even though they advertised that before the game was released. *sigh* Still... there's BASSOON, people! | 2011-09-14 16:13:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |

Also, you missed the part where I mentioned the BASSOON! | 2011-09-14 17:51:00 Author: schm0 Posts: 1239 |

Welp, Guess I must borrow Move controller from my friend till I have all items collected from Move Pack DLC. All those music sequencer instruments, sticker panel, materials and decorations makes my mouth drool. 8€ is decent deal if Move controller is borrowed for week or two. My friend is currently borrowing my Scott Pilgrim vs. The World graphic novel collection (all of them) so I think It's fair trade. | 2011-09-27 10:34:00 Author: Coconuts Posts: 384 |

You're right. These are plenty, but just not enough. nice job bumping.... and large text is frowned upon. also, if you know anything about the move instrements, you would know that these are more than enough for most music pieces... | 2011-11-01 04:53:00 Author: a_mailbox Posts: 416 |
