I have not added the cut-scenes, or bosses, but i do have the general gameplay finished. The story I will post if this level is deemed worthy, follows as is: You and your wife, Elena, (or your best friend if you are a sackgirl), have taken a vacation from the hassles of life on a private yacht to an offshore coast twenty miles from Madagascar. After a few friendly pictures, a mysterious storm clouds the sky and the ocean. Elena yells for you to come out from inside and help her secure the masts. As you run out, walls of water douse the boats floor, and Elena slips and slides down. She grabs onto a mast as you yell her name. Suddenly, the ocean begans to have a strange fog, and a a wisp of fog in the form of a hand claws onto the boat's front, pulling you into the ocean. Elena slips and falls into the ocean, yelling help. All around the yacht is a dense fog, and you black out. when you wake up, you are surrounded by fragments of your boat, and washed ashore a beach with an ominous temple. Outside is a stone with the words "The Dark One Consumes." You notice dragged feet leading into a glowing yellow column of light / enterance. Then you play the part of the level i made. I plan to add more light puzzles and more refraction, as well as a mini-boss, and boss. Also, i haven't made a proper image for the level yet. Since i kinda botched up a few parts when i had to do my homework before school Tuesday, the controls aren't labeled throughout the entire game like i'd like them to be, so i'll paste them here. Really nice level you made there! I was really impressed that you made a level like this without encountering major problems during gameplay. I really like the atmosphere and the way you made the controlls easy to remember. The obstacles involving the flashlight were really unique and new to me, which I thought was great! Thankyou! what inspired me the most to make this was a game called Alan Wake, and the Earth Temple from Wind Waker. and believe me, i ran into a TON of problems when making this, but i always iron out the major flaws before publishing.
