Last Days: The Fall of Elithia --- Prologue, Tutorial and Hub!

Finally, after a very long time of hard work, I present you:

That's right, three levels! It took me a while, but I finally finished the Prologue Movie, Top-Down Tutorial and Level Hub, and published all of them in rather rapid succession!


Prologue:

The Prologue introduces you to the story used in my RPG levelseries. The story is about Creaton, a powerful, merciless being, who is trying to assume control over the Omniverse, or as it is called in this fictional Omniverse, the Galaxsphere. To do this, Creaton needs the Xanafir, an object that is as old as existence itself, and which has the power to transform, even create, entire universes. It holds almost all mass and energy in existence, but is only 30 cm in diameter.
Now, Creaton is close to obtaining this item. If he manages to control its power, he will dominate everything. Already has he destroyed many civilizations, many planets in fact, and it is up to you, a member of AEG-Corps, to stop him.


Tutorial:

The tutorial/tech demo introduces players to the all-new top-down combat system. You are given the task to find and eliminate a number of Cratons, enemies of the Aegi, who are mining Meteor Crystals* on the Silver Mountains, a location on Earth.
You can find a Scattergun (shotgun), a Sword, and a Shock Cannon (Energy-Rocket Launcher) in this level. Using them, you must eliminate a small number of enemies in the northern part of the level.
The level can be played with multiple players, although only the host can actually control anything. The others will have to spectate.

Here is a list of controls:

X-button: Jump
O-button: Interact / Toggle personal light (Illuminator)
Triangle button: Open Inventory (Partially pauses the game)
Square button: (Press) Reload weapon / (Hold) Drop weapon
R1: Use weapon
R2: Sneak (hold to sneak past certain enemies (not featured in the tutorial, still a work in progress)
L1: Dash (in any direction) (requires energy)
L2: Sprint (hold for increased movement speed) (requires energy)
Left button (D-Pad): Use a Med-Kit (increases health)
Right button: Use an Energy-Kit (increases stamina)
Up button: Spawn an automated Turret (500 points required)
Down Button: Spawn an Energy Barrier (large shield that stops most bullets) (500 points required)

The Inventory features:
- A 'Continue' option (returns you to the game screen)
- An 'Inventory' option (allows you to browse items)
- A 'Quit Game' option (ends the level)

The Inventory features the following items:
- Med-Kit: Restores some HP upon use. Maximum stock: 5.
- Energy-Kit: Restores some energy/stamina upon use. Maximum stack: 5.
- Super Pack: Activates Invincibility for a brief time (except for death by squashing/lethal materials etc)
- Various items, offers some information about your equipment.

The tutorial also features a hidden room, where you can access four consoles:
Enemy Console: Lets you spawn two types of enemy NPCs.
Ally Console: Lets you spawn a single allied NPC.
Pick-Up Console: Lets you spawn three pick-ups: Ammo, Med-Kit and Energy-Kit.
Weapon Console: Lets you spawn all currently available weapons:

(Light weapons: Do not impede movement):
- Sword and Shield (close-range melee weapon. Shield provides low protection to bullets)
- Scattergun (close-range rapid fire shotgun)
- Assault Rifle (moderate range rapid fire rifle)
- Repair Ray (close-range beam weapon. Damages NPCs, repairs Turrets)
- Grenades (close-range timed bombs. High damage, Area-Of-Effect)

(Heavy Weapons: Decrease movement speed, prevent sprinting and sneaking):
- Minigun (long-range rapid fire minigun)
- Shock Cannon (long-range explosive launcher. Area-Of-Effect impact)
- Railgun (long-range railgun. Fires an incredibly powerful and fast projectile. Long charge-up and recharge times)

*These Crystals originate from a meteor that crashed into the Earth many thousands of years ago, which forced ended the reign of Humans on Earth. However, a number of Humans escaped in a spaceship, and made their way to Elithia. They evolved, and became Aegi: Humanoids with long ears, sharp vision, powerful muscles and many more new or improved bodily features.
There are over 200 pages of background story, so if there are any questions, please ask them! I am quite sure I can answer most of them!

** I will try to give feedback to as many people as possible. However, I often have lots of work for school, I have a forum to run, and I simply need time to improve these levels and build new ones. Please do not get angry if it takes some time for me to fulfil my F4F duties!

*** If anyone could record the prologue, and perhaps the tutorial, and post it on YouTube, you'd have my thanks! On the forum where the background story was created, only a few people actually own LBP2, or even a PS3, but I am sure they would love to be able to see these levels. I would record the levels myself if I had the right tools, but unfortunately, I don't...

I updated the Tutorial Level with some new content, and a bug fix:

-Bug Fix: Spawned turrets were unable to damage enemies. This has been fixed.
-New content: NPCs (both enemies and allies) now make walking sounds.
-New content: NPCs now leave footprints when they walk on snow.
-New content: Secret Test Area was updated with two new weapons. These have not yet been fully tested.

Hey man, sorry it's taken me so long to get to this, but today i'm free and i'm queueing it now. Will get your well deserved F4F soon!

EDIT: I couldn't get to it because of some personal issues that came up, i'm sorry. I'm swamped for the next few weeks, but i'll see if i have some free time to squeeze this one in!
