I'm not sure if this belongs here or in another category, but it seems to fit here. Do LBP2 heart/play counts work retroactively towards LBP1 trophies? The reason I ask is because I recently decided to ace everything in the mgs pack. I figured i would do it in LBP2 because that was what I had loaded up at the time. When I went back to LBP1, none of the trophies registered.

Unfortunately no. LBP1 doesn't recognize anything done in LBP2, and trophies for all DLC up until the Move pack are tied to LBP1. You'll have to replay the DLC in LBP1 for the trophies to unlock. (However you can bring certain data from LBP1 to LBP2 for quick trophies in LBP2. For example, if you have 50 hearts or 50 plays, etc., for your level/profile in LBP1, when you import data to LBP2 the trophy in LBP2 will instantly unlock.)

The mgs pack is tied to lbp1, however I recently logged into LBP1 to grab some stuff and to check something and picked up a few trophies based on my hearts now.

groovy...so the hearts carry over. Now I just need like 12 more good levels to get my 30 creator hearts. LBP1 platinum, here i come. lol
