What is the purpose of a rocket rotator? I cant seem to get them to work and i dont know what they're good for. Help?

They're a simplified logic to help an item "face" the right way, but on its own it it may seem useless. Try placing it on a weird-shaped piece of holo, then place a follower on the holo. It will move toward you but also turn and "face" you at the angle of the rocket rotator's arrow. The effect is probably best realized with controllable projectiles or flying vehicles, and requires other logic. I like to use multiple rocket rotators on a randomizer so that an object constantly tries to upright itself at a different angle, so it wobbles to and fro, but unlike regular rotators it doesn't move from its own strength, it reacts to impacts from other objects. Gives things a kind of bubbly percolation, personality kind of thing. ^^
