Turn off checkpoints in a Versus level.

Hi, there. I know that, in a versus level, you can have multiple checkpoints activated at the same time from which cute little sackpeople randomly respawn. But I was wondering if there is a way to deactivate them again or just to let them start deactivated to then activate them later. Because in my level it is quite important that only one checkpoint is active, but I have to make it versus too. The problem is that, when I take a checkpoint from my toolsbag it seems to be off. Then I connect something to it and it stays that way. But when I play the level in Play-mode and come back to Create-mode, they're all suddenly turned on. So, is there a way to avoid this? Have you tried emitting them? I've never tried if it's possible to emit Entrances and Checkpoints, but if it is, you could probably set up some destroyers to destroy the checkpoints when players respawn, and then set the condition for which a set of emitters would emit the respawning points wherever you want. | 2011-09-03 22:59:00 Author: MonarioBabii Posts: 128 |
In the past we've been required to emit checkpoints and destroy old ones when we want to switch from one to another in versus. I don't know if anybody has found another way, but if they have, I've never heard of it. | 2011-09-03 23:17:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
