Notification Alerts

Archive: 5 posts

I don't always see when I receive notifications and so sometimes it takes me awhile to respond. I was wondering if it were possible to have a sound alert when you get a notification. Since some people receive alot of notifications it would also be necessary for the user to be able to disable the sound.2011-09-03 16:47:00

Sadly, there's no option in the vBulletin software to provide an audible alert. :/

Well, I've never tried it, but I'm pretty sure you gotta refresh this to make it pop up. But your computer should make a dinging sound whenever something pops up, for an example, when it says "Battery Low". A small window will pop up and make a dinging sound to let ya' know it popped up.
So I thought maybe this would do the same?

I hope this helps in some way, but as I said. I've never tried it so I don't know if this will do anything.
