Does anybody have them? I'm quite a vivid dreamer, and I do (as sad as it may seem) have video game related dreams. Recently I've been having the odd LBP 2 dream. Most of them seem to be related to releasing a new level. I have had dreams where I check how many plays I have the next day, and it's over 500 (a huge triumph considering how my previous levels have done). Last night I had one where I created literally the best LBP song EVER! But I forgot to release it! Surely I can't be the only who has LBP dreams?

I'm usually pretty oblivious about what I dreamt after waking and clearing up my head with caffeine, so I wouldn't know. People say we oft dream about things we focus on in our daily lives, and LBP being one of those things I wouldn't be surprised if I did dream about it.

Eh. Sort of. I don't have story-orientated dreams (Best way I could describe it) like you described. But I've frequently sank hours into making something Logic-based, only to go to bed at like... 4am bored of whatever it is, not working, and then dreamed about the problem and awoken with an epiphany and instantly worked out what I was doing wrong. My dreamt up problem solutions have never been wrong thus far. Which is something I think is fairly cool. ...I think I'd cry if I worked something out while sleeping, but then forgot exactly what I was supposed to do the next morning. Urg, that would suck.

I have lots of dreams really. with LBP being one that pops up every rare now and again. but mostly I have Sonic dreams when it comes to game dreams~ *mew

I once had a dream where I was in in my pod, then a package came through the tube on the ceiling. I grabbed it, and prize bubbles came out. I also once had a dream about a Spongebob level kit.

I have several game design related dreams, but so far I've never had a LBP one yet. I'll dream I'm in a brand new game but I'm also holding a controller, as I do stuff, I'll come up with ideas for new gameplay elements and also what button would activate what. A few days ago I dreamt I was in an fps game, driving a dune buggy, I got out and climbed up a rocky bluff with a team-mate, but a guy with an RPG followed us and was about to kill us, so my friend fired off what looked like a pistol into the doorway the man was standing behind. It created a weird forcefield, he fired the RPG anyway, it hit the forcefield and bounced off, smashing into his chest, making him fly a hundred metres through the air screaming. So ROFL worthy.

I dream repetitive tasks, which means I've had dreams of all jobs I've ever done, from washing dishes to putting videos on shelves to typing data. Just monotonous, horrible nightmares where I think I'm at work, then the alarm goes and I wake up and go do that job. It's worst during the first month of a new job, when all the training is fresh in my head. Can't help but dream it. Since LBP2 create mode is a lot about little adjustments and repetitive tasks (for me) I do sometimes dream that I'm trying to place a piece of material just right. Still a nightmare. It won't go right, or it won't properly glue, or it will keep ruining the logic or stickers. Get out of my head, stuff! Off-topic dream: had one of a very small group of very sad dreams (nightmares) recently where I was living with my wife and son again (we are separated) and everything was great. Woke up alone. Very awful feeling.

It is such a bad feeling to wake up and realize I hadn't just come home at all. In fact, I have just started my day. I do have LBP dreams though. Mostly logic related, as that is what I do. It's weird in my dreams though. Nothing is stationary. Problems change from moment to moment. I will be working on something, and it is always in a state of flux. For some reason, in dream logic, it works though and what I am doing adjusts with it. I will be working on a problem, and it will be the same problem. Then gradually I realize that the parameters of the problem have changed completely and I am working on something else entirely, even though the problem itself never changed. I have the same dreams with math. It is a strange feeling to simultaneously know and not know what you are working on.

They say dreams are supposed to be about problem solving, but I reckon that's a load of rubbish Having said that, I'm pretty sure that when I was learning to ride a bike, I had a dream where I bought a bike from a bike shop, then rode it out. Next day (or not long after), it all finally clicked I do dream about things I think a lot about, or games I play a lot. Even games I haven't played for ages. Like Football Manager, finding a 16yr old wonderkid who's better than Messi.

I once dreamed that I had three MM picks, one Beta level and a crown. All my levels had over three thousand plays, and for some reason my Sackperson lived in a mansion. The controller was a steering wheel instead. It was the best, and I was truly convinced it was real. I almost cried when I woke up. You know, since my dream was the polar opposite of my real social status in LBP. And that I've never advanced past boundaries even remotely close to that of the ones in my dream. .____________. I actually didn't really give a care.

Oh, and I remember my worst gaming related dreams now. I'd dream I had some awesome games given to me as a present for a special occasion (birthday/Christmas etc) placed under my pillow and when I was half awake I'd scrabble under my pillow to find them. When I realised it was just a dream, I'd feel extremely disappointed. Must have had about 20-30 of those.

Im sorry for Reviving this thread but I did have a LBP related dream last night.... I dreamt that a sackboy was in his pod (Wasn't mine, the sackboy wasnt wearing clothes) Then it zoomed in on his head and it split open, cotton flied everywhere then tiny sackbots started pouring out of his head screaming "WE WANT RICE!" Then Da Vinci came on a pedestal out his head screaming "YOU DIDNT PASS THE TEST!" The next line was very naughty. :blush:

The other night I had a dream where there was apparently a 3D level in story mode, and I somehow found a glitch to make levels using it. I made a level where Sackboy ran in circles around a gazebo in some institution by a beach.

I usually have game related dreams, mostly based on games that I'm excited to get. But whenever I have dreams of LBP, they're always nightmares. Like one was I was just playing LBP2 as normal, I activated my pod computer, and something weird happened. My planet got this huge grinn on it, and it opened its mouth. Jagged teeth grew in the mouth, eyes popped up, and it started to drool this glowing pink. My planet gave me this evil stare, and slowly started to come for me. My sackboy scrambled back, and rushed from side to side, wondering what to do. my planet got really close to my pod and stopped, breathing heavily. Then it dashed forward and swollowed me whole. There was black, and then I woke up. Only one word could describe that dream: AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel much better after reading that. I thought I was the only one that had dreams about logic. Gaming related dreams happen fairly often with me in general.

I had an LBP2 dream once, but all that happened was that I was in my pod, using the controller, and endlessly spinning around a blank Earth, with the pod computer music in the background. Then I woke up suddenly after I had hit my head off of my bed-side table.

I just had this Dream today about little big planet 2. Lemme tell you how it went I was playing little big planet 2 and i discoverd the internet on my PS3 was gone :O so I done some magic trick where I could play community levels without internet. But i could only play by my self then i went to the community menu and there was a black button and i think it said " Apply for beta tests so i clicked it and it came up with some person who had already sent in app and in it said " I love to play little big planet 2 and Grandtheft auto and I belive i would be perfect for the beta trails because i know all about little big planet". and then below it said " If your having trouble with making your app just use this persons app and send it to us " a little copyright ahy? then i played this community level that had Victora's background and it had all this cake objects and stuff. and that was the end of my dream but can i tell you something a little off track but with little big planet. I have theses dreams also that i'm at my uncles house and i'm playing little big planet 2 and my Head tricks me into thinking it's real and i wake up all of a sudden and i'm like oh man it was a dream. And a sad thing also at my home i have no internet on my PS3 but in my little big planet dreams i do
