Sackmagnet [1 Player only]

Hello fellow creators !

My new level is finished, published and ready to be played! It's a platformer with a twist : you cannot jump, but instead, you can attract or repel yourself from metal. Comments, feedback and critisism are of course appreciated !

Wow great level! Just played it and I really liked it, especially the part near the end where you have to use both abilities to get higher up. Worked really great too, didn't run into any problems. Also didn't see anything worth improving, so only positive feedback from me. Good job!

Wow, this was a fantastic level.
Your gameplay was completely awesome.
The magnet thing was really well made and the puzzles to go throught were a bit hard but not too much. I needed to use my brain for some ^^

Can't wait to see a sequel.

Wow, this a really great level. I can imagine there must've been quite a bit of logic going into that sackbot and it really shows the capabilities in this game. It's a unique idea; I've never seen something like this before. I thought you explained it well although the controls were simple which was good. As far as I could tell there were no problems & it looked really nice too. However, in some darker areas the magnets didn't stand out as much. Perhaps you could put a light on the magnets? Although it's not that big a problem. Overall, I enjoyed playing this level & it's a yay from me!2011-09-02 10:56:00

Slurm, as far as I'm concerned this level is about as good as it can get. Great visuals, fantastic, flawless logic - and a really fun mechanic. I can say no more, except that this level deserves so much more attention than it's getting. Great job!2011-09-05 19:00:00

Wow, I didn't play yet, but it seems to be my kind of levels! Did you make the bot walk on walls? Can't wait to see...
WOW, this is insane ! It looks exactly like the game I were building on computer, but in mine, you can only use the power when on the ground. Cool. This is perfect. I don't know what to say. Sequel?

I played this level earlier and it is quite an exciting level.

VISUALS:
The level has great visuals thanks to material choices and well used stickers and decorations. The animation of the neon sackbot is a nice touch too.

SOUND:
Great music choices.

GAMEPLAY:
The sackbot that cannot jump, but can be polarized by magnets is something we haven't experienced before. The logic of the sackbot is highly accurate, and the puzzles may want to have players use their magnetic powers wisely.

OVERALL:
An awesome job on this great level. A yay and heart.

Wow.
That was amazing. The gameplay was original (my favourite kind), not challenging but not too easy. I really enjoyed how when you repelled from a magnet you would go up and then keep going and then bounce up and down a bit. It really gave it the feel of a magnet, and looked really cool. The visuals were stunning. In all places I could stand there and admire the time you put just into visuals (especially the part in your second picture). The only complaint I have is that I had no idea there was secrets until the very end, but that doesn't really matter very much.
Overall an absolutly amazing level. A and a <3 for you
I will go play it again and hunt for some glitches. In the meantime I would like some feedback:

EDIT: I hunted for some glitches and...I found none I also looked for some secrets, and I found 3/5. They were fairly hard to find, but that's kind of the point.

Awesome level.
Great and fresh concept, nice visuals, but more than everything, slick gameplay.
One of those few examples (I can count less than 5) when you control a sackbot and it's responsive (and that's a great accomplishment).
Most of all it's FUUUUUUUUN!!!
A must play!

Thanks everyone for your feedbacks. I've queued all levels and already played some of them, i'll try to leave feedback as soon as possible.

I'll probably add the player restriction once I've downloaded the 1.6 patch, but 500mb could take an entire day with my poor connection.

I just did the 1.6 patch last night, took forever!

But I did get to check out your level today, I love it! The premise and game play are just plain fun. And I like the humorous tone of the dialogue. You definitely put thought into the different ways the player can use their new super powers. (I like the little touch that the point bubbles are attracted to you). The level is on the shorter side, but I like the length of it. A yay and a heart from me.

Hi Slurm, are you still doing F4F requests?
Regardless I'd play your level anyway since the whole magnetic theme intrigues me. So when I get a chance I'll give this a go and post back.

I've played all levels yet and already returned feedback on some of them, I hope i'll return all feedbacks tonight or tomorrow. I've queued Cavern of the Lost, I guess this is the level for which you want feedback.

I've put the one player recommandation, and found that the thermo calculation probably changed in 1.06. Before 1.06, the level was almost overheating, but I still had 1/3 of a bar left, after the patch, it was overheating and i wasn't able to save it in its current state. I had to remove some stuff to save it... I hope it's still working fine.

Mmm I haven't checked my level since the update I hope this hasn't done anything to the thermo. May not be able to check it until Friday. My recent update saved some thermo and freed some up during gameplay. So hopefully it's still ok. Yes, Caverns of the Lost is the only level I've done, so that's the one to queue. Thanks.

UPDATE: PSN is going offline later today, so I may not be able to get on. LOL went to queue your level only to find that I had queued it a days ago without realising before seeing this thread.
